The only reason I know about Liquor X (Originality is worth a star), is because it is across Olden Avenue from Rozmaryn Restaurant, the excellent Polish palace at 925.
If you want genuine Polish brew with your delicious meal and you can’t find Zywiec products in your local beer distributor, you will make the crossing and go into LX. There is no other reason you would want to risk entry into such an establishment in this neighborhood. The cast of characters on the sidewalk outside gives the feel of running the gauntlet, and the unsavories working within do little to calm your self preservation instincts. Everyone is on the alert and you can almost feel the itchy trigger fingers clutching at their stubby steel and 9 mils.
Still, they have the beer, and they will sell it to you.
