Save yourself a World of Trouble and call wonderful Harold at Acadia Carpet Care in Bar Harbor instead! These people hate their customers, particularly those like me who are «from away,» and the owner behaves like a thug. After years of patronage, because they were the only game in town, and $thousands spent with their company, they are holding our small decorative Halloween front doormat hostage demanding $ 65 for cleaning or they will dispose of it. Rue the day when I decided as I was driving by the Ellsworth store to drop it off there instead of calling Harold. I have never encountered such rude, nasty and unprofessional people as the owner and staff. Harold would have doubtless cleaned the doormat for free.
