They are honest and they use organic products. How awesome is that?

You pay for what you get. Statis charges $ 5.50 for dry cleaning suit trousers – a buck more than I was paying in Trenton at a place that I’ve already reviewed favorably. Today I picked up my suit trousers and when I checked the buttons and zipper i noticed that they had reattached a button that had been dangling. No extra charge. A class act.

Beware… They seem pretty nice, but when I got home, I was missing a pair of pants. Two of the 4 shirts had creases/wrinkles in them, and one shirt had a new spot on the back. When I went back 24 hrs later to ask about my pants– the owner said, «oh, I was going to call you.» Um, when? Then, they couldn’t re-press the wrinkled shirts in the store, so I was going to have to leave them there and come back. Again. So no thanks. Probably most importantly, they didn’t even say(1) thank you(for paying us more than $ 50 for dry cleaning), or(2) they were sorry they forgot my pants and gave me wrinkled shirts. They also tried to blame me for the(obviously iron-caused) wrinkles in the shirts. Why is it so hard to find a good dry cleaner?!?

Definitely pricey! Don’t even think about asking for a price list because one doesn’t exist and you’ll be told that they focus on quality instead. That being said, they ARE good. I won’t be taking my regular daily work clothes here any more(like basic slacks to be washed/pressed, buttonup shirts, etc) because the price is just too high. But I do recommend them for more expensive or particularly sensitive items, like wedding dresses, tuxes, suits, etc. Oh, and bonus points for the fact that they do tailoring, too. I tried on a pair of pants in their little changing room, had her pin them quickly(it took all of 30 seconds), and had them back in my possession 2 days later… perfectly tailored, washed, and pressed.

A very picky co-worker recommended this cleaner approximately 5 years ago and I have been a customer ever since. At times I found that their prices were a little high, and initially would switch to the latest budget($ 1.99) dry cleaners, but then found that the budget service would go downhill quickly — missing clothes, items returning with stains, fabrics being damaged by bulk cleaning practices… if I calculated all of the irreplaceable suits and pants that other cleaners destroyed, it would be much more than what Statis would have charged to do the job right the first time around. They also are miracle workers — pitch perfect tailoring, even when taking on some very tricky items(shortening blazers, for example) and can remove some impossible stains(I slipped in a patch of oil and they even removed that stain from my pants). I am very appreciative of their work and the kindness that they always show me the minute I walk in the door.
