Horrible, one they take forever to deliver to you. And Two They also canceled one of my orders because it was within a half hour of them closing.

It’s really a shame about this place because I really think they have the best fat sandwiches I’ve ever had. The first couple times I’ve ordered the french fries were crisp and not soggy on the sandwich, The past few times I’ve been ordering from them they have been late and very rude and even lied. One night I ordered food already paid on my credit card, they called my grandmothers phone and said that they were at the right address but they went to another one and once we gave them the right address once again the deliver driver answered «you’re playing games and I’m canceling the order.» Even though we have him the right address for the second time he said «I don’t care» mind you he only called the phone ONCE. Another late night I tried ordering over my boyfriends house to give it a shot once again and the delivery driver took FOREVER then called us saying he was outside and we went outside and he was down the street then when we finally got his attention he tried to play it off saying that he was calling us for a while. Get a new delivery driver guys! Good food for late night, terrible service.

It was 1 AM and I was starving. I went on GrubHub, found Ultimate, and decided to order a bacon cheeseburger. I asked for a fried egg on top. My friend ordered a bean and cheese burrito. The food arrived within the window that they suggested. It was so delicious, and exactly what was needed at 1 AM. Will definitely order again.

Went for a late night bite on a weeknight. Didn’t have high expectations. Their menu is pretty damn big! Unfortunately, they were out of calamari, so I got the fajita burrito and some curly fries. Huge portions, very reasonable prices. The food wasn’t exceptional but was probably the best you can get in Jersey at that time. Having read the reviews of delayed delivery and cold food, I ate in, and everything was fresh and warm.

Food ordered on grubhub. Food came quickly but all three sandwiches and fries were cold. Gyro meat not so tasty. Burrito was low on flavor. Fat sandwich was good but cold. I’m not interested in trying them again.

Not good. I’m just an innocent college student trying to get some late night goodies before my exam, and what I got was absolutely horrendous.
I got a fat sandwich, and it looked like microwave leftovers, and it didn’t take into fact anything I asked for that wasn’t part of the original sandwich, while tasting terrible as well.
I also paid 3.50 for a chocolate cake, which is a thin slice of cake that looks like leftovers from last week.
I was starving and was just looking for decent food, and I ended up throwing away like half of the food. Will never be my first or last option for food again.

They have a great selection of food. Their brochure looks nice. Good first impression for me so I decided to order from them.
I ordered the Fat King and the bread was very hard and stale at the ends. Fool me once…
I ordered there again and ordered The Fat Stuyvesant and the ends of the bread were hard again. Shame on me.
Their Mexican food does come in huge portions. I really, really want to like this place.

Terrible terrible terrible. I called in for an order and this guy could not understand english or spanish for that matter. Had to repeat everything 3 times and at the end got the wrong order. Waited 1 hour and 25 minutes for the wrong order to arrived. First and last time i order from that place

Place is worthless!
After calling this place «4» times and finally getting someone to answer they tell me they are closing at 10pm instead of 4am. Nice customer service people! I’ll be back… yeah right.

Ordered an Italian Stromboli, got a large which was plenty of food, good size for the price. Very delicious!!!
Need to work out a few kinks with the delivery system but other than that, it was great!
When you order, stick with the Italian menu items.

I’m not sure what’s going on with this place, but they need to take a step back and get their act together.
I tried to place an order for delivery last night. The first time, I was told to call back in a few minutes because they were so busy. I waited 10 minutes before trying again and was put on hold for a moment. I thought that my order was pretty simple; tortilla soup and a fat veggie Indian sandwich, both of which are featured on the grub hub and website menus. After being told that the tortilla soup didn’t exist, I had to explain that I wanted chips and guacamole instead about 5 times. I tamped down my annoyance and added two drinks to my order. My total came to $ 29.34.
After I hung up, I calculated and realized that I was being overcharged by about $ 6. I was getting ready to call back when the cashier called me to say the the Fat Veggie Indian that I’d ordered didn’t exist. I argued that they were listed in two different menus. the cashier related my complaint to the owner/​cook/​manager who told him to say that they’d have the ingredients next week. If I could leave no or negative stars, I would in a heartbeat.
At this point, I’m so fed up with their awful customer service that I completely canceled the order. I won’t do business with a place that’s this much of a clusterfuck. I don’t know if the crew working was new, but they need to figure out a game plan, soon.
Also, I’m checking my account regularly to make sure I’m not being charged for their screw ups.

Ordered off Grub Hub. Food came earlier than expected and it was SO good. The Gyro wrap was fresh and the fries were crispy and hot. And they called to see if I wanted to substitute an item for the rice balls they were out of. Their chocolate cake is moist and the cocoa flavor is so good. I’m impressed and I will definitely order from them again.

I can’t say much about in-​house dining but my friend and I went late at night to get one of their fat sandwiches named the fat king. It has cheesesteak, chicken fingers, bacon, mozz sticks, honey mustard ketchup mayo lettuce and tomato. This thing was a beast it had to have weighed at least 4 pounds! We split the sandwich which was an 8in ($ 8.50) and it satisfied us both. The taste was similar to your run of the mill fat sandwiches but I did enjoy the texture of the fried foods especially the mozz sticks, they were gooey from first bite to last and you don’t normally get that with run of the mill fat sandwiches. Everything was perfectly warm and delicious.

Ordered take out from here last night and food was good. I ordered guacamole w/​chips and a turkey and cheese hoagie.
Pros– Place is very clean and I liked the way how the hoagie was wrapped neatly, so I would’t make a mess while eating it. Hoagie was on the money and guacamole was very tasty and fresh.
Cons — forgot to put onions on hoagie, asked for fresh mozzarella cheese, but they put american on there without calling me to ask what other cheese I wanted on it since they didn’t have it. Price of half hoagie is $ 6.50 which is a good price for the size. The Mexican portion of the menu is so overpriced, 3 tacos or enchiladas for 8.50 and that doesn’t include rice and beans! In LA Mexican food is hella cheap and hella tasty!
Overall, the food itself is good and the prices are good. I just don’t agree with the high prices of the Mexican food.

I ordered food delivery with some co-workers…3 club sandwiches„ a wrap, an order of tacos (each $ 6.50 on Grub Hub) and a «Fat» sandwich ($ 7.00). The order should have equaled out to $ 41.73 including tax and the delivery fee. We received our order and the driver advised that it was $ 53.97 (after tax and delivery) and that the menu prices have changed.
A price total at the time we called in our order or an update on Grub Hub would have been nice.
The food would have been worth $ 6.50, but $ 8.50 for a BLT Club with 2 slices of bacon is a bit much.
Ultimate Grill & Pizza will be added to our «do not order» list.
