Always delicious and tastes fresh. The staff is always friendly and they have great prices. They did a nice job with the remodel and although I don’t eat much sushi except California roll, the added sushi bar is an added plus. The crab Rangoon is delish and my usual pick is the chicken with mixed vegetables or chicken chow mein. And off course you have to have the wonton soup on the side. Only downfall is the crispy noodles are scarce when you ask for extra because of the half filled bags. It’s close to home and I’m glad it’s a nice place

New food just isn’t worth it. Won’t be coming back, and I’m sure the others will agree with me. Its a shame that the owners sold out — they were friendly and always welcoming. Sad to see them go.

It was my birthday and I had a hankering for Chinese take out. Our go-to place for the last 16 years was Peking in Trexlertown. We’ve seen a bit of highs and lows over the years, but remained true. Well, I should have gotten a clue when I didn’t recognize the voice on the other end of the phone, plus she had no idea what I was taking about when I ordered some of our favorites. Went through with the order anyhow and asked my husband to pick it up. Soon got a phone call from the restaurant to clarify my order.(???) No, I didn’t order cashew shrimp– doing so would have been a death sentence!(Major shellfish allergy– Points in their favor for calling, though). After a moment, I asked about changes to the menu. The guy I was speaking to told me they were new owners and changed the menu. Uh-oh. Husband brought food home and we tried it. Basically, it was a $ 45 waste of money and time. My kids wound up making peanut butter sandwiches for dinner. To sum things up, everything was super greasy and the only flavor was 5-spice powder in the spring rolls. Seemed really odd to us, Peking had great spring rolls without that yucky flavor. Things we have ordered for the last 16 years did not look, smell or taste«normal», and that’s also comparing them to other Chinese take-outs. So, I’m another year older and Chinese take-out wiser. We’re looking for a new place and even threw out the«new» menu. Bye, bye Peking. We’ll miss you!
