Sears Appliance & Hardware Store

I just tried calling (8:45 a.m.) the Sears Hardware store in Trexlertown. I let the phone ring 10 times. No answer. Is this business even at this location?

Do not come here if you are in a hurry. As long as you are not in a hurry, this is my favorite Sears store (though, now that I think about it, none of our local Sears stores are good for being in a hurry…)
We do a lot of online shopping with Sears and pick up at this location. They are not set up nearly as well for online pickup as the Whitehall store. You have to go to the front desk, where they check their tiny rack and realize that your items are in the back section. Then they have to find a runner to go get them. So it’s going to take at least 10 minutes — I’ve waited nearly 20 on a bad day.
However, everyone we’ve worked with has been unbelievably friendly & helpful and apologetic about the wait. When I’ve come in just to shop, once I’ve gotten someone to help me, they are always patient and focused on helping me (which is probably why the waits are so long… individualized attention takes time).
They also have coffee & bottled water up front while you shop, if you’d like.

i went in here to buy a hose. They were very helpful and nice. I always forget about this place, but they sell a lot of great tools and paint and appliances. i will be shopping here again! They used to have popcorn while you shopped. I wish they still did that, it was sooooo yummy!
