Loved the pizza. Service was horrible. The waitress did not check on us once the whole time we were there. My boyfriend and I had to share the last of my soda because we didn’t get any refills. Finally the check came, couldn’t wait to get out of there. I felt like a fish out of water.

Good, solid pizza place with a nice atmosphere. The pizza we had was good. It leaned more toward artisan than mass produced and the have a big brick pizza oven. We tried the«cheesy bread» and it was okay but nothing incredible. It would help if it also had some garlic or butter on it. We would go again and maybe try the garlic bread. They let us know they can’t substitute anything on the pizzas without an additional charge.

Incredible pizza! Just a few blocks off of I-25 but worth getting off the beaten path. They also had a local brewery on tap and it was delicious. Was busy at lunch with locals and travelers alike. Would definitely return when in the area.

This pizza is awesome!!! One of the only places to go in Trinidad. The owners are so nice. The waitresses are extremely rude but the food is worth it! Try the Mediterranean pizza and a draft beer. Ignore the rude girls gossiping. The owners are great.

Over-priced and the atmosphere created by the wait staff is zero. It’s a great tourist trap.

Great service and great pizza! We were looking for a quick lunch on our way back from Colorado Springs and found this little gem in the middle of downtown Trinidad, CO. If you like pizza cooked in a wood fire brick oven, you will love this place!

Delicious, hot and fresh pizza; consistently great service. We love the ambiance of this place. Sandy is an expert at wood-burning stove pizza baking. Yum.

10 thumbs up from the five in our party! They made a cheese pizza for the kids with half Alfredo sauce and half red sauce. Kids loved it! And dad finished it off. :-) The adults split a personal size Mediterranean and a large salad. It was perfect! We also enjoyed the Moose Drool beer and Mama’s Little Yella Pils.

Great folks. Great ambiance. amazing pizza! I highly recommend. Fire brick oven right in the middle of the place so you watch them cook the pizza. Smells great too! Has an old rustic bar grill feel to it.

Best pizza I have ever had! It is very busy but worth it. We had cheese bread and pizza and the flavor was superior. Wait staff was awesome. Would recommend to anyone and willl definitely go back when we’re in town.

Well, thank goodness the pizza was good because the service pretty much blows. I had the Philly cheesesteak pizza, it was good, the hangover is also a nice choice, but there’s ONE guy making pizzas and it seems to be lazy Sunday everyday of the week, even though the two girls working were running around like chickens with their heads cut off they got little accomplished. Terrible service, so sad Nana and Nano’s was closed. Oh and my pizza came out 15 minutes before everyone else. I’ll give this place another change… maybe.

first time I came in, a draft was served up by 3 chatty women, fun. the second time well not so much, professional and fast for a so so chicken breast panini, the bread was hard as if it was stale before it was toasted

Generally speaking I’m not big on white pizzas, but I have you tell you Dave’s Fat A$$ is amazing. A friend of mine and I stopped here while traveling and were immediately greeted and given menus. The pizza is fire grilled and the décor was pretty cool. The liquor lined the walls like an old school bookshelf. They had a sliding ladder and all! Back to the pizza. The dough was perfect. It had good consistency, not too doughy, and the fire aspect gave it amazing flavor. The Alfredo sauce is by far some of the best my friend and I had tasted before. It was apparent that they made it themselves and it wasn’t store bought. We took a few pieces Togo and even cold this pizza was amazing. Highly recommended stopping here if you’re in the area.

Stopped in for dinner on the way through colorado. The town itself was pretty shut down but we found this lovely restaurant. Wonderful ambience and nice staff. Had the Hula and Loco pizza… the large was plenty and try even had a good beer selection. Tried a local ale. If you find yourself in Trinidad stop by and enjoy a meal.

It’s like the only place that was open in Trinidad, but it was the best pizza we have eaten since we went to NYC last spring. 10⁄10 would eat there again. Great crust, service, and ingredients. Loved the salad with house citrus dressing, too!

I must say wood fired pizza is not my favorite type of pizza but this place for sure is the best of that style I have had. We got there on their busiest night so I can’t complain too much about the wait time especially because the pizzas were well worth it. Im deducting 1 star because my Caesar salad was a bit limp Pizza 8⁄10 Salad 6⁄10 Cost 7⁄10 Ambience 7⁄10(a bit cramped when busy)
