Four Stars in the budget range. Very clean, easy-going management(took reservation over the phone and left us the key). Great showers, spacious, plenty hot and easily tall enough for someone 6’2″ at least in room 11! The room was small and cozy, and really only minor gripe would be that the queen bed was against the wall preventing both of us from being able to use our CPaP machines. Definitely dry here, probably should have asked for a humidifier!

Quiet, cozy and safe. Great price The town is a little dead but the motel is a great place for a pit stop, and get refreshed. The bathrooms were pretty impressive also.

Cozy, small rooms located within walking distance of Trinidad’s downtown. If you are visiting Trinidad, there is hardly a reason to drive if you are staying here. Rooms are cheap but pay in cash for best rates. Quiet, comfy beds, and clean restroom. Free wifi and pets are OK. Nice place. I like the old-school décor… makes me feel like I am actually on a road trip.

The motel is clean and very affordable. They have a cool neon sign out front that looks like it dates back to the ’50’s. The room was small but it was just me. No breakfast but there’s a diner a block away. Historic downtown Trinidad is only a few blocks away. They do allow dogs but not cats. Staff was very friendly.

Decent hotel in a small town with few other places to stay. The room was miniscule but clean. Owners are pleasant and we had no problem getting a room at the last minute. Downsides: –no bathtub, only a shower –horrendous raspberry air freshener smell(we put it outside) –wifi signal is weak to non-existent in the room, had to sit outside For $ 45 a night, though, it was a good deal. Be aware: all food establishments in Trinidad close by 9pm! So if you need to eat late, you’re out of luck.
