It’s a Walmart like any other. It’s a little smaller with a smaller selection, but obviously you’ll get most things you need here. HUGEPLUS: They have self-checkout booths unlike the Safeway in Trinidad.

Ok, as a person who grew up with Walmart in the south, I was excited to see Trinidad had one when I moved here. Now, I avoid this place at all cost, including driving into Pueblo just to get some essentials or paying more for things at Safeway just to not deal with this place. Self checkout is always broken and there are never more than 2 regular lanes open when i have been there. The only thing this place has going for it is at least the workers are friendly. I have yet encountered someone who wasn’t able to point me in the right direction or walk with me to find something. Sam Walton is rolling over in his grave on this one!

Hey, its Wal-Mart. It doesn’t have everything here, but it is sure cheaper than Safeway. I always watch interesting characters meandering around inside when I need to buy something there. Welcome to America.

Yeah, it is a Walmart Supercenter but Jeez is it a small one! Lots of selection you hope they have from the bigger stores they do not have. The upside is it is open 24 hours so if you need to go in and grab something in the middle of the night they are indeed open. One of the few open places in Trinidad after 8pm!

This is the most happening place in Trinidad, most nights. That is saying a lot about several things…

I’ve been to the Trinidad Wal-Mart several times over the past few years. Sometimes nothing beats a trip here, especially when you don’t known enough to look for a local alternative. Hell, I even bought furniture here. Not quite sure what I was thinking, but what the hey.
