Steak ‘n Shake

Excellent for what seems like a fast food place with waitresses, which I found odd but okay. I thought everything tasted great and what great prices. I love the thin fries! I’m not much of a shake person but wish I was because they look wonderful. Worst thing was trying to decide which burger to try! Definitely will be back when I crave a burger and fries! The waitress was very good too and boy they are kept hopping!

I like steak N Shake because I can usually trust their burgers to be fresh.
What I I found utterly ridiculous about this particular location was that I waited 12 minutes in the drive through after placing my order. When I got to the window, and I was ready to pay, The girl there, handed me my bag and said «Thanks, have a good day.»
Nope, she didn’t take payment. «I haven’t paid yet.» So the girl behind her told her to collect the money. She did, gave me the correct change and all that. then wished me another good day. «Can I have my drink?» She looked behind her. «Is this your drink?» Honestly, how am I supposed to know? I’m not inside the location.
«is it a large diet? Then it’s mine.» I’m polite, but seriously, make sure that your folks are trained before you put them on the window.

First time coming here. I am from NJ and we don’t have this chain by Where we live. The original burger I had was awesome and the shake was fantastic. This place was much better then McDonald and Burger King.

6p on Wednesday 10÷29÷14. Went through the drive thru and was impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of the order taker. Pulled up to the window and the woman was smiling and not the normal take your money and send you on your way type, but actually read our order back and was very polite and checked to make sure the order was correct before handing it to us. Took the food home and everything was there. The burgers were spot on and the chili was piping hot. Funny to say, but this is the best experience I have had at a Steak and Shake, or any fast food restaurant for that matter. From start to finish, they were on during this visit. Thanks!

I’ve been through the drive-​thru several times and I’ve never had a bad wait, and my food order has always been correct.
My husband and I ate inside recently and apparently nobody had been assigned to that table yet, so we waited for several minutes and debated whether we should leave. However, once the manager realized their mistake, they apologized and offered us shakes on the house to make up for it. Our server Gabriel was the nicest guy and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
They really take care of their customers, so we will be back again and again. I recommend the Oktoberfest burger and the baked beans!

Waited 20mins in drive thru for a milk shake. This place sucks. Never comeback again.

Went for lunch for burgers and shakes. Our favorite. There was a mixup as to who was serving us. Darin the manager noticed it on a flash and quickly got is served. Great burgers, yummy shakes clean restaurant wonderful ser

Alright so we decided to try their breakfast. Big surprise. They nailed it. I got the sausage eggs and cheese tacos. Very good. I wanted to get a burrito but they didn’t have any that I seen. The tacos made up for it. Almost authentic tacos. Only thing that would have mad them better would have been some salsa. The wife got their breakfast bowl.
The prices were very reasonable and food was really hot. We went thru the drive thru and didn’t really have much of a wait. We will be sure to stop again.

Very clean! Food was hot!!! Nicer than other S&S’s :) the waiter was excellent! I think this is a newer location. Right off 54.

The Trinity location is clean, the food is good, and the people are upbeat and friendly… and the shakes are the best.
