Karen is terrific. She works the front cash register and simply cannot be any better than what she, already, exhibits. She greets, seriously, EVERYPERSONENTERINGTHEBUILDING. There’s also a gentleman in his forties, tall, with glasses who is so polite and always pleasant like Karen. These two are such as asset to their pathetic pharmacy. Pharmacy gets a half star for incompetence, rude, apathetic demeanor. Only reason I gave a 4 star and not 5 is due to crappy pharmacy — this Walgreens, sadly, holds.

I want to give them a 4 star but just can’t. The pharmacy was nice and friendly however they called me Friday and said they would have my script in on Monday instead of Friday because they were waiting on a shipment. That was fine because I wasn’t completely out yet. I ran out Monday night and went Wednesday already suffering some negative side affects from missing a day of meds only to be told that they were supposed to have been restocked that morning but they didn’t get any. She called around and found some at another location, advised it would be ready today after 2PM. I asked if they could give me one or two just to get me by because the side effects were getting bad. They gave me one at no charge. This location has been known to be very slow at checkout, they try to open other registers if they line gets too long, however the extra register has typically been opened by someone inexperienced.

I only came in and out of this Walgreens, they had exactly what I needed though. We got some snacks for a drive to Louisiana. They had these new chips from Doritos that I was excited to try, «roulette.» They were actually pretty good — glad I go the 2 for $ 4 Fiji water.

I love Walgreens; if you look at my checkin’s, you will see that I frequent this place. For me it is about speed and being able to get in and out when I need some personal items. I might find items cheaper somewhere else if I took the time to shop, but time is my enemy. I visited the drive thru to pick up a prescription and I was out of there in less than 7 minutes. The associates in the pharmacy are always slammed and although they do not smile very much I still like shopping there. Also, the fact that they are a chain and I can find them anywhere is great. They have this this Great iPhone app and web site that Makes it easy to request my refills. Also, Walgreens will email you when your prescription is ready to be refilled and all you do is reply and the prescription is sent off to be filled. Really cool.

So many issues with their pharmacy. Wrong strength of meds delivered from what prescription requested. Lucky I caught it before I took them. Submitting prescriptions that were expired. Rude pharmacy manager. None of the staff knows how to say«thank you». This is 3 miles from my house and I drive 10 miles to a CVS because they are soooo much better. Unless you are buying stamps or milk I would avoid.

While this is your standard corner store Walgreens I am glad that it is my neighborhood store. The store is always nicely stocked, the staff is friendly and the service is quick.
