Strange, I had a photo of the store front and a review for this store already. Who knows? Big Lots started out as a liquidation store, but it’s turned into a lot more. They have furniture and international foods, as well as leftovers and the occasional buyouts. This store has a decent-sized furniture area. The electronics area is big enough but like so many others, seems to be overloaded with junk no one wants. I usually end up at Big Lots for various items from the food section. Beware the Trevi water – it tastes like water taken from the Trevi Fountain after tourists were soaking their feet. You can almost always find a bargain, but do your research, as the company has been known to throw regular priced items into the mix. I like that you can get products from Germany, Poland, Italy, and Malaysia all in one place, without driving to Fairfield. Of course, they don’t have quite as much of a selection as Jungle Jim’s but what they have is good. It goes hand-in-hand with Aldi’s for picking up specialty items. Sadly, they don’t have frozen or refrigerated items as they did in Florida, but there are plenty of other places for that. As well, things are changing in the area with the Best Buy gone, Sears closed, and Target closing. People will be relying on Big Lots, Dollar General, and Family Dollar even more.
