I’ve been coming here for bait for over 20 years. It’s an awesome place to swing in and get some bait and fishing tips.

Nothing says «Get used to the fact that your parents fucking moved to the South, Lauren» quite like this place. This happens to be the only store within a 20 minute drive from my parents’ house, but I mostly use it as a reminder to turn left, drive 100 feet, and then make a right at the old cemetery with the confederate flag draped graves, and then keep going straight long enough to overcome the urge to not take your foot off the brake as soon as you get to the lake at the end of the road.

This is an old timey gas station. Yes, they have gas. They have crickets. They have bait. They have deer sausage.
They also have an attached boat yard where it appears that they repair boat motors.
Drinks and snacks are set up around the shop.
Old wood floors that creek when you walk on them (loves it!!)
The chaps that run the joint are always friendly and happy, and I would say it is a safe bet that if I asked them to help me pump gas, they would in a heartbeat.
