They knowingly sell car washes at the point for a car wash that isn’t operational. I’m out $ 7 for the cheapest one.

great clean location… good branded gas that will not ruin your car like the generic stuff around the corner. Even the price is the same!

The only advantage this place has is that it is just off of I-​77 at Exit 42 and it’s the first one you encounter southbound.
Running close on gas (the Audi said I had 5 miles), I pulled in in desperation.
Price of gas was way above the norm for this area and more that if I had just turned right and gone back under the interstate to other places.
Used to be able to get with it and got away with it again … for the last time.

I stopped in to the stop and save to change my daughter’s diaper on a 95 degree day and, lo and behold, they do not have a baby changing station. I approached the cashier who seemed to not care in the least and shrugged his shoulders and walked away when I question why there was no changing station. What kind of gas station at the corner of an exit off of a major highway does not have a baby changing station?

Headed to Troutman, maybe to Zootastic or to the fairgrounds (I mean, really — what else is there in Troutman?) and running a bit low on gas, or need a bite? Have no fear, because just off the freeway is a fairly nice gas station, complete with decently stocked convenience store.
It’s not the simplest to get into, depending on which way you are traveling, but it’s not the worst I’ve ever seen either, and at least their pumps work well enough, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble here.
