When I made a recent job transition I needed a place to store a dozen of boxes. I compared all the storage areas in Troy but also in other cities nearby and I made my choice by picking this place for the following reasons :
* Safe neighborhood: Troy.
* 24 hour free access (code)
* Vehicle Drive-through (high ceilings so OK for big trucks)
* Air conditioning (summer) + Heating (winter)
* Price: One of the cheapest of the market. Check around you will see
* Service: I felt like a VIP customer even though I just rented their smaller unit.
* Clean level: 6 stars (if it was even possible)
* Payment: Online (one time I was late by a couple of days and did not get late fees applied)
Finally it was very easy to reserve the unit and even easier to get out. The customer service was really outstanding. If I ever need a storage again I know where to go !

Royal Oak, MI

Mini Storage in Troy/B’ham is great! The facility is brand new very easy to get around and the people that work there are always friendly. Bathrooms are clean too. Plus there is free ice cream and water. You also get a free truck rental when you move in. I had a storage unit there for a year and I did not have any complaints. As a side note they seem to always being involved in the community, when I was there they were taking bike donations for less privileged families.
