There’s a sign on the door that says something like«if you’re old enough to buy liquor, you’re old enough to pull your pants up,» which seems to imply they discourage a certain type of customer, I assume, and so I refuse to spend money to support a racist/classist/generally discriminatory shop. Why do you care how high or low people’s pants are? Do you want to make money or not? Jerks.

Prices are competitive with the other Liquor stores in the area. It really depends though what you are looking for. Certain products are cheaper here and other things more expensive — but I only buy cheaper things so really we are only talking a few bucks either way here and not great sums of money.

Less expensive than Wine-Steal(aka Wine-skill) but more expensive than Spirits of Troy. The selection is not extensive, but it is adequate enough to pop in and pick up a bottle for dinner. It was a lot cleaner and brighter inside than I was expecting based on its location. The owner was friendly. This is a place I would stop if I was feeling too lazy to go downtown, but is not some place I would do my regular wine shopping.
