Discount Tire Store – Troy, MI

Been using this location for years… always helpful. Had to have a tire replaced this morning. From diagnosis to out the door was only 25 min. Highly recommend the tire road hazard warranty.

After being told two different things from two different staff members, I wrote a letter to the VP and the Owner to get my tires replaced according to warranty.

Great place with great employees. I bought a set of big truck tires and have been very happy with both the price and the service from this place. The staff here really make this place great as they are friendly and very knowledgable.

Very helpful and knowledgable. I haven’t had extensive work done here yet, just maintenance.
However had to wait almost ten minutes in line just to talk to someone.
Would have given it 5 stars but they need more workers to fix efficiency to get an extra star from this Unilocaler.

I worked with Mike who was more than helpful and friendly on the phone and then again in the store. They do quick quality work without being pushy or trying to upsell you on products and replacement parts.

The only thing that I hated was the wait. They were super busy though and I was a drop in because I had a problem with my tire. To my own fault I don’t check my tires and the employee went out with me to survey all four. I found out that I needed a new one on my driver side. But they fixed the problem with my tire and now everything’s good.

This discount tire offers great service. They have a good amount on staff to take care of many customers. If I need to get to work this is my best bet as opposed to belle tire, a dealership, or shop; I can manage my time better with dt than with the competitors. I have been here at the end of the day as well as first thing in the morning. At the end of the day they were the only business willing to keep open up to the closing time and even a little after. It took long but they were packed and I was just glad they let me get my car in. First thing in the morning, they took me in with less of a wait than I have had at belle tire at store open. It took an hour since I walked in.

Front of house associate was knowledgable. And he didn’t let me forget that. After he gladly took my money for a new tire (which was supposed to be covered by insurance, but apparently wasn’t because «there’s just a bit too much tread gone»), I couldn’t get this guys attention for the life of me. I was standing by the desk for 15 minutes, waiting for him and his other buddy to finish a conversation about who knows what. But it certainly wasn’t about tires. Bottom line, I’m trying to buy more stuff from your store, but this guy was too busy goofing off to get my sale.
The guys in the garage were fast and efficient. That’s the only reason this gets a 2 star.
There are better Discount Tires out there. Worth the extra drive NOT to go here again.

These guys rock! Went in to get a tire plugged (had a slow leak). They found a screw in my tire, removed it, plugged the leak and I was on my way — NO CHARGE!!! Sure they are busy and I had to wait 45 minutes or so but totally worth it. They are friendly and I would definitely get new tires there when I need them!

Love this place, I have bought all my tires from here and would not go anywhere else. The guys are so friendly and really help you with finding the best deal.

Awesome friendly workers and cheaper than sears auto. Only problem… no magazines or TV in the waiting area. It was a bit long for them to put my tire back on (job was putting a tire on a rim) but it was busy and I understand that. But give me something to read or stare at instead of making me experience a awkward eye contact with a stranger across from me and making look at my wrist like I have a watch on.
Overall… I would come back for business. With a magazine.

First time here. Or any discount tire. Went there to get my tires filled with air cause they had free air. And to get a price for tires for my car. Well the guy who is filling the tires told me to park so he can fill the cars tires that came in first. So I parked and waited then when the car was leaving he let another person take my spot so I had to wait again. Being really press on time I couldn’t afford just sitting there waiting so I left. Guess I’ll get air when I have more time to spare and go to another place to get tires.

I’ve been going to this location for many years with different cars and I’ve never had a bad experience. Service is excellent and they are very efficient at getting you in and out as soon as possible. Will stay a loyal customer!

I’ve had several experiences with Discount Tire and their customer service is amazing. Quick, efficient, and realistic expectations. They are great at what they do. Would definitely go there again!

Had to get my tire fixed. Had bought a set a year ago. So pull up and it took 1 hour and 15 minutes. I had nothing better to do so it was ok. It though did seem to take a little too much time to get my tire plugged.
Very clean place. They did have free coffee. They had a free place for water bottles but it was empty. Everyone was friendly.
I like the fact that the location is not right in the middle of a mall, but easy to find and get to.
When looking for the store don’t google. It will take you to 14 Mile instead of East 14 Mile. Big difference.

Discount Auto is America’s largest independent tire company and has been since 1963 so they know what they’re doing. Every single time I have come out of this joint I’ve left feeling satisfied and like I was not just another customer but a customer that deserves and received impeccable service.
Most recently, I had to replace a tire after getting into an accident and when I told Bruce, the manager I was going to just go buy a used tire for 25 bucks, he sold me a brand new one for 24 to ensure I would be a repeat customer.
The staff at Discount Auto offers the best customer service as well as the best competitive prices. This is the place to go when your car needs some brand new tires and you need to feel like a well taken care of customer.
