I was looking for a place to spend time with my 18 month old. Their play ground there is pretty cool. Has play ground sets for younger and older kids. Baby swings and regular swings. They even had one wheel chair accessible swing. There is a large sandbox also. And lots of shaded places to have picnics. We did not do a lot of walking on trails but park looks neat and clean, no dog waste. I’m glad pet owners care. We used restrooms by the playground and they are also clean and smell nice. We enjoyed our time at that park.

Duke is pretty great for walking and other exercise. Lots of parking, too. The playground is nice but not shaded — in the hot sun, the community park down the street is a better bet for our kids. If you’re into geocaching, there’s at least 3 sites in this park.

This place has a lot to offer. Football, soccer, softball, and baseball diamonds are all available(and local youth sports use them). Tennis courts, basketball, and a couple of playgrounds. A walking trail thats over a mile or so(its not just a flat trail either), Also a mountain bike trail is located on the back side. Lighted ball fields for softball /baseball. Adult leagues play here as well. Sometimes concessions stand are open(but only when youth sports are playing) They also have shelters with a grill, all are covered and can be reserved.
