Friendly, fast, great highlights… I like bright blonde highlights that you can see but not too chunky. They turned out exactly as I described. The stylist was helpful in recommending products but not too pushy in selling them, which is appreciated! I would definitely go back.

Nice, clean, modern looking place once you step in. Receptionist immediately helps you and offers you something to drink. The hairstylists are very knowledgeable dealing with color whether it’s a normal hair color or something crazy. I’ve gone twice now, once got A dark shade of dark brownish purple and then The second time I got a purple shade done. I didn’t know if the latter could be accomplished without bleaching my hair but she did it and it looks excellent! I’m very satisfied with this place. Even with all that was done to achieve my bright color, the cost still wasn’t exuberant. I have looked everywhere for a quality salon with colorist that know what they’re doing for a reasonable price and this is really the place. I’m only been twice but everybody is really nice and great, I especially recommend Courtney.

Amber was awesome! It was my first time there and our initial consultation to talk about my hair color isn’t an easy thing. I’m always so back and forth with my hair and being that it’s naturally dark black I don’t have a ton of options to play with. My hair had been previously dyed to an unflattering too warm, too red brown color and I wanted to cool down my hair while fixing the highlights. I showed Amber pics and tried my best to voice what I wanted and she totally worked with me and gave her recommendations and gave me the option of what I wanted to do. Living in LA right now where prices are ridiculous I took full advantage of getting a whole makeover done on my hair. And she took that into account knowing I wouldn’t be back in MI for quite a few months. She toned my hair a tad darker so that it would last longer and fade beautifully into the desired color of highlights I wanted, and she fixed the placement and choppiness of my previously done highlights. She was so hands on with showing me how to correctly use dry shampoo(eye opener for me lol) and was very easy to interact with. I absolutely enjoyed everything about my first time experience here and will definitely make it a point to come back when I’m in town again.

Dye and Dash is great! Thank you Silvona for hooking my hair up with a beautiful blonde color that I love! It looks great and I’m very happy with my service today! The salon is clean, you did a awesome job with my initial consultation, my wash and head massage felt great and relaxed me! I’m walking away feeling good, confident and ready to take on the town! See you in a couple months

I saw an ad on Facebook for Dye and Dash and the concept sounded pretty cool. I get busy with work, so scheduling a whole day around a hair appointment doesn’t work well for me. I made an appointment about 40 minutes before I went in using their app — SO easy by the way, love that. I was a little skeptical at first when I walked in, not a lot of people in there. I’m use to my regular salon where there’s a ton of people in chairs and multiple waiting. Regardless, I got right in and was more than pleased with my hair! I figure everyone just hasn’t found out about the secret yet. All and all — great job on hair coloring, saved my bathroom from me trying to do it myself(and my hair for that matter), and I didn’t go broke over it. Very pleased! Also as mentioned for the pricey add-on’s below. Nothing of the sort was offered to me, but I also did not get highlights. They pretty simply lay out everything price wise on their app. Only thing I would say was a little eh — I sat right by the receptionist who was quite complain-y about some of the customers that were calling. Not ultra professional when a customer is literally sitting right in front of you. I’ll be back for sure though!

I found Dye and Dash as I was driving by. Did some research to find out what it was about. Decided to give it a try the next day. Very happy with the results. In fact the color that the stylist mixed for me is the best color I have had! Will definitely be going back. The prices are great too!!!

beware of pricey add ons! The stylist recommended a product that added 50% to my bill. It was literally on for 60 seconds. My fault for not asking how much it would be… but $ 30 was outrageous. My $ 65 highlights ended up costing $ 95…no deal. Sorry I tipped her what I did

Dye and Dash opened in December. They got their idea from the salons that do blow-outs. Their only service is coloring hair. They’ll do roots, highlights, full color and conditioner. They don’t cut or style hair, but they do have what they call their Dry Bar, where customers can use any of their products, hair dryers and brushes. The concept of «dye & dash» is a very good one; I love the idea of dropping in and getting my color touched up when I don’t feel like doing it myself. Prices are reasonable: $ 30 for roots, $ 40 for full color, $ 30 for 7 foils. The stylist I had(I forgot her name) did a very good job of matching my color; she even said it was a pretty basic color when I’ve previously been told that I have a lot of different colors in my hair. There are televisions for customers to watch while waiting.(The one I was near happened to be set to the Food Network, and they were making some of the most amazing cakes.) I like that there aren’t mirrors all over; I don’t think anybody wants to stare at her/himself in the middle of a dyeing process. Their process is unique. They sit you in a chair, which is in front of what can be described as a large, rectangular counter. After asking what you want and analyzing the color, they turn on this spherical heater — it’s kind of like an orb that rotates around your head. It does get pretty warm under there — it would be lovely in the winter! The stylist said that it opens the cuticles and makes the dye take to the gray better. After the heater turns off, the stylist applies the dye, and then turns the heater back on for another 20 minutes or so. After that, the dye is washed out. They then dry just a little section of the hair to assure that you like the color. After that, you’re on your own to style it, using their products & equipment. My only real criticism is that I would’ve liked the options of flat irons & curling irons at your dry bar. They do have wi-fi, and they accept walk-ins.
