Sometimes, a long run of customer loyalty can be destroyed with just one rude comment. I’ve been using this place for printing services and shipping for years. My last visit, I requested insurance for a package I was sending to my dad. When asked what was in it, I shyly told the rep — it was something homemade that had taken me literally weeks to create. He said it was only worth the $ 20 in materials, and fedex doesn’t do insurance like the post office does. I tried to laugh it off and told him«that was harsh!», but he continued to act with very little concern. It sounds stupid, but I was very hurt, and he was aware of that but apparently an apology was beneath him. The proverbial icing — a small box that weighed less than 2 lbs cost me $ 16 to send to Virginia. Next time I’ll suck it up and stand in line at the PO — I know I’ll get crappy service there, but I sure won’t pay out the nose for it!
