Here is my experience working with Julia Patton for the past 12 months. First of all, you usually never speak with Julia Patton herself, it is one of the many agents. These people are not at all versed at State farm’s policies. During my second 6 months, I paid for 3 months first, as I had an accident just under 3 years ago, so the agent said if I pay for the 3 months first, my second 3 months would be less. This way, I would be saving money paying every 3 months instead of a one time payment for 6 months. 3 months has gone by, and I got a call about my balance for the 3 months. It turns out it is TWICE as much as I paid in the first three months. Anyone in this situation would ask why, so I did. The agent had no idea why it has risen, and blames it on the fact I didn’t pay for the entire balance the first three months, false, I have the receipt to prove it. Each time I called them, another agent would answer, with absolutely no record of the conversations I had with any other agent before. Do they not keep records of anything? After calling them 5 times, I have still not gotten an answer why my current balance is more than the last balance. I’m am totally dissatisfied with their service and lack of knowledge retainment and communication between agents. And would not recommend anyone else to face the same experience I did. I do not think State Farm is a bad company, but I would avoid Julia Patton and her agents.
