I moved to Troy 2 years ago and have had mediocre experiences at all of them. They are always in a hurry and try to up sell you on everything.
I found this place driving past and decided to give it a try. So glad I came here. From the moment I walked in the experience was good. I was promptly greeted and the staff was very friendly. In fact all of the customers were too. The spa was clean and it smelled good in here… not like a bunch of chemicals.
My pedicure was amazing. My nail tech took a lot of time letting my feet soak and then scrubbed them for a long time. There was no skimping on what needed to be done or extra charges for them to remove callouses or massage my feet & legs. The polishes are great and they have a large selection to choose from. I will definitely return here for my next pedicure!

Absolutely love this place. Every single time I come here they always take their time and do an amazing job. I have been to just about every nail salon in the Troy/​Rochester area and La Vie is most definitely my favorite. I get the shellac manicures and they ALWAYS last me 3 weeks. So happy I found this place after years of looking for great consistent service!

The ladies always do a great job and they use all natural products! Fair pricing for pedicures and manicures with a wide selection of colors to choose from. Very clean salon and friendly staff.

The lady does a great job and is pretty meticulous about your nails. My only problem was that midway through my manicure, she had another customer walk in and she started talking with the other customer and paying more attention to her than my nails at times — but in the end the nails turned out to be good so I dont really care.

Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Even when I forget to make an appointment or need a quick fix, they are always accommodating. They take their time (but not too slow) and do a great job. They really listen and do what is requested. Their prices are competitive and I never feel over charged. Best nail salon in Troy by far… and I’ve been to just about all of them.

Accidently made an appt. here instead of another one nearby, SO GLAD we did!
Inside is very clean and inviting! The ladies are very friendly and do an excellent job! Price is very reasonable & comparable! Color selection is large and always looks clean. They sterilize all tools! Pedicure chairs are so comfortable!
Made an appt for a bride-​to-​be & I on her wedding day and they surprised her with a nice hand wax-​dip and took extra good care of her!
I will not go to any other nail salon in the area after coming here!
