I don’t know how much longer I might be in Troy after a few years so when I do end up ordering pizza or sandwiches, I’m trying to get in on as much Unilocal reviews as I can with all the variety haha. This Papa John’s has been there as long as I can remember. Though I could care less for the political views of Papa John Schnatter, in the name of all things pizza, I told myself I’ll order from this place at least once for Unilocal hahaha. I had ordered from here a few times like 7 – 8 years ago or something but nothing remotely recent. As I did with the Domino’s across the street, I went through ordering online. It’s pretty cool how friendly the user interface is. You’re probably more likely to mess up the order splitting the pizza toppings for half a pizza or something via phone than ordering online. I used a promo code from Retailmenot to get an extra large 2 topping pizza for 10 bucks. You enter the code first and then proceed to customize your pie for sauce, cheese, and toppings before paying. We got one half sausage and pepperoni and one half sausage and green bell peppers. As usual, Papa John’s gives a chili pepper and garlic sauce with it. It tastes delicious with the crust so I liked the touch. The place is small and no eating there. A few chairs, an old TV, and a vending machine. There was only one guy working there and he was friendly. Papa John’s has their own unique flavor, like most other pizzerias. The experience came out well for me and I really enjoyed my pizza! Definitely worth trying at least once.

Fast and Reliable. Of course the Pizza is Papa John’s and delivery is on time. Double check the total amount due when ordering by phone.

This Papa Johns does not adhere to their corporate policies and pizza standards. I had my pizza done wrong and then when I asked why they cut them square it was their policy. However, when I spoke with corporate its not the case. Corporate was trying to ask that franchise to give me a refund which they refused. I went back to that store and the manager just laughed at me. Saying I will not get a refund and I was wrong. even though they were violating corporate polices. Further more, this place had their employees in dough powder all over themselves. The entire place was covered in this thin dough powder, even the cash register place. I would recommend avoid eating anything from this place tip they cleaned it up. This franchise store needs to be on noticed for food and santitary conditions.

I grew up eating Papa Johns and I love it! This location has the WORST service I’ve ever experienced in a long time. The staff is incompetent and the manager doesn’t know how to enforce rules. Customer service 101 must not be a part of there training program. The female named Briann must be hard of hearing. She didn’t realize that she was bad mouthing me in front of my boyfriend and she blamed her mistake on me. She forgot to place our order so boyfriend waited for 45 min for our pizza. Little Miss Briann(the foul mouthed, rude and ignorant brat) shoved the wrong pizza across the counter. Why? Because I called to tell the manager my boyfriend overheard ALL of the inappropriate comments she made.

Tastes like cardboard with sweet sauce. Papa Johns is horrible pizza. A $ 5 Little Cesar Hot n Ready is far better. And schnatter the owner is a dufus who oversells his garbage.

I received a promo code for a free large pizza, online only. The pizza showed up at my door in 30 minutes, hot and delicious. The delivery guy was friendly and even pet my pug. I’d give them 5 stars but I like the flavor of Pizza Hut better.

Was on the way home from DTW& our daughter wanted some bread & garlic dip from LaMarsa & this was right next door ! Tried desperately to order on line, to gain & eventually redeem bonus points for a free pizza, not a very user friendly site & to get a promo code for the $ 11 specialty pizza, after 3 attempts, I ended up calling direct. Great phone skills & staff. I ordered a large round with Double Sauce Pepperoni Sausage Spicy Sausage Banana Peppers Portabella Mushrooms Canadain Bacon Onions It was cooked to perfection & they even tossed in an extra garlic dip as requested!

I had been itching to try Papa Johns since it’s one fast food pizza place I have never ordered anything from. My boyfriend and I decided on the BBQ Chicken and one Veggie style. As usual my low carb goal takes a backseat… it’s hard being a pizzaholic. My boyfriend had tried the BBQ Chicken before so he told me I would like it, but of course I also wanted to order a veggie one just in case I was displeased with BBQ Chicken. The veggie one turned out to be absolutely nothing special and it was more edible dipping it in the melted butter garlic dip they include with every pizza. Now, the BBQ Chicken I loved! It tasted very good and it basically consisted of bbq sauce, onions and thinly cut grilled chicken strips. The sauce was tangy and sweet and the chicken had a smoky flavor. I even liked it better than Uno’s recipe so I would definitely order it again. The only downside is their prices are higher. I liked the pizza but it’s not practical for me to order from there often. Our bill with a tip came to $ 25.24 and that was for two medium pizzas! I can taste a distinction between ordering a Papa Johns pizza versus ordering a $ 5 pizza from Little Caesars. But If you are going to order from them be sure it’s really worth shelling out an extra $ 10 or $ 15.
