Stayed there a year ago and it was not bad. A lot can change in a year… I travel a bunch — platinum with Choice privileges and Silver with Hilton — so I know what good and bad looks like. Service at front desk could care less. They were there because it was their job — no more than the minimum amount of service. The hotel is in need of a make over. The hallway smells like cat pee. The room was worn out and needed a Good cleaning. No bedding for the pullout(had to pick it up at front desk) There was some kind of party in the banquet room and when it broke up — loud people screaming in the hallway. Breakfast was nothing special This hotel is the same price point a the ones in Utica and Auburn Hills but not even close to being as nice. Yuck

I come here to do post-op caregiving for my job and find it to be very comfortable. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. All the amenities you would expect. Outdoor pool, pets are allowed, workout room, computer room, bar(closes at 10pm) and resturant, free hot breakfast with make your own waffles! I’ve never ate dinner here but lots of my clients have and most enjoy it. It definitely smells good. Also because I’m here for work I’ve never slept in the beds but they seem nice. Big fluffy comforters and pillows. The elevators smell funny sometimes but I think it’s the stuff used to clean the carpets. Over all I think it’s nice and would stay here outside of work.

I stayed here for a few nights while on a business trip. Be sure to sign up for choice rewards membership, you get a free voucher for dinner buffet during happy hour from 6 – 7:30pm! Pros: Nice staff, soft towels, clean beds. Got all the amenities like workout room and free breakfast, what more do you need? Cons: Rooms have no entry way light, easy to hear sounds from neighboring rooms, and the elevators have an old smell. Breakfast is dine in only, no plastic wear for me to take anything up to eat in the room… Still would stay here again if I got the chance, one of the best quality inns I’ve been to!

The hotel is very decent. With the area and staff, I liked the quality of the rooms, cleanliness, friendliness, and overall experience up to this point. I’ve stayed here for 2 nights now and look to continuously stay here for my next business trips in this area. Join the choice rewards programs before staying and be treated very well. The bartender is kind of rude, but I guess he has his regulars. If you don’t speak up you won’t get great service. He stays close to those he knows and is the only bartender.

Fantastic service… the whole staff was very helpful. Bret the manager was out of King rooms so he upgraded me to a King with a Jacuzzi in the room… I was in heaven every night, it was just amazing. Walter along with the overnight and early morning staff were also very helpful when I needed a file printed at 1am in the morning. If you want a small, quiet, clean hotel with great service then look no further, this is the place… Also Bret Congrats with your new twins. Satisfied California Customer.

I purchased a groupon for a «date night» package about 7 months before it expired. I selected a room with a king sized bed, and a Jacuzzi in the room. I used my groupon the day before it expired. The stay was alright, but what I found in the morning was disgusting! I took my mother with me for the night(since it was about to expire), and she enjoyed the Jacuzzi, it helped her arthritic legs, and I went in later, and found the jets to be positioned too low(I was hoping it would relieve some back and shoulder pain I’ve been having), but it was still relaxing. I took another soak in the Jacuzzi the following morning, grabbing a dry towel that was hanging over the bath tub to find TWOBUGS on one towel!!! i was disgusted… even worse, i discovered another THREE bugs in the bathroom. I would have loved to use the pool, but one of the doors to enter the pool area was glass, and totally shattered, with a note, «do not use door». I found it very dissappointing that the«restaurant» inside of the hotel is only opened Monday-Thursday. With my groupon, i was to receive two glasses of wine, two desserts and breakfast vouchers… When I checked in, the desk person said there would be a bottle of wine in the room, and we arrived to the outside of our room, as two hotel employees were rushing out of our room, telling us that our snacks and desserts were in the fridge, ready… So, there’s no wine, instead, two malt Seagram’s beverages(neither of us had), two brownies with nuts on top and 1 slice of cheesecake… I wasn’t at all satisfied with what we received. However, the bugs were the worst part of the whole experiences, I intend on emailing groupon and the hotel to tell them about my experience.
