I will try again for sure because I really want to like it. I had a fine experience, just not super duper. The latte was ok, but could have been tastier. The staff didn’t seem very happy to be there or to wait on me, which may have been any number of things so that doesn’t really offend me. I also had a gooey butter Danish which was really yummy and delicious ! The Danish was very fresh and professional baker tasting. The parking as with all the Main Street shops isn’t great but doable for sure. I will try again and maybe bump up my stars ! Good luck to them.

Last time I went to this cute little coffee house, the coffee beans were sour. The barista seems friendly at least, and the business seems to be working out the kinks of being a coffee house in boring old Troy, MO. Honestly, I think the place is a little too modern for Troy residences, and the average Trojan would probably never lay a mud-covered cowboy boot inside. But it still was designed beautifully inside! The prices were a little too steep for me to be a daily customer, but I may come back at some point. Hopefully the beans won’t be sour.

I love the Roasted Bean! The coffee is delicious and I love that is right down the street. No more driving to Wentzville for a good cup of coffee. The atmosphere is great for sitting down with some friends or for getting some work done. I also love that there is live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Overall, the Roasted Bean is a great addition to Troy and I will be a frequent customer!

We went there opening day… Very excited to finally have a coffee shop in Troy! Well… We waited 15 min for our coffee, there was 4 of us. Granted it was opening day, but it wasn’t crowded. Let’s start at the prices. They charged us $ 3 per drink, plus $ 1.50 for«syrup» not too bad but when your drink comes and is 2 inches short from he top of the cup? Yeah… No good… Now, on mine I ordered 2 extra shots… The charge? The price of a drink! $ 3 –_– that’s just nuts… Now… We watch as they make the drinks… They don’t use ounce shot glasses like they should, they use a SCALE, to weigh out he shots… In a bourbon glass type thing with your $ 1.50 syrup… Weird… Why they don’t just use a shot glass and be sure shots are pouring at correct speed by timing them with a timer or simply counting? Absolutely boggles the mind… The shots looked beautiful, perfectly poured with a great Crema on top… But i don’t know what beans they use? Cause… YUK… I couldn’t taste the coffee even though I ordered extra shots… They use cheap Torani syrups you can buy at a grocery store… My drink was horrible, and it cost me $ 7.50!!! I may try it again after awhile, see if they get their act together… but for now I will use that $ 3 for the extra 2 shots($ 1.50 a shot is ludicrous) to pay for gas and drive to Wentzville and get my coffee where I know it will be amazing and not so costly and won’t end up in the trash can… My grandson got a chocolate cup cookie… Yeah… It was tasteless… I am a serious coffee lover and could really run this place so much better … The«baristas» looked lost… Guess there wasn’t a lot of training … And if there was? They didn’t pay attention as they just kinda didn’t look like they knew what they were doing… When I went up to ask for whip cream as I guess it’s not included on a white mocha? She set my drink aside and I waited, and waited for her to stumble on her few drinks she was making JUSTTOPUTSIMEWHIPONIT… Not a good experience and a complete waste of almost $ 20… We ended up at Starbucks a little while later! :(so disappointed… We were really excited for this place. I don’t see it surviving …
