Excellent customer service! My fiancé and I came into Verizon today to start a new plan together. I am a Verizon customer and he WAS an AT&T customer– we wanted to see who was more helpful and cost efficient before we decided which company to both switch to. Aaron was unbelievably helpful and easy to work with! Jeff the manager was also incredibly accommodating and helpful. We are now both happy Verizon customers and plan to be for a very long time! I definitely recommend this Verizon store for any and all needs!

Avoid this store at all costs. I came in today with my 2 year old son in a stroller to return an Ellipse tablet we had just purchased that week. The sales staff all looked at us and clearly no one wanted to engage. Eventually sales associate Courtney asked me what I needed and was not welcoming or friendly. I told her I had a return of an Ellipse. She replied«what’s that?» Her responses were curt not one of being appreciative or thankful of a customer walking into an empty store. I was considering buying some other products and using an upgrade on this visit but I knew immediately this was not going to be the place. Our family spends hundreds of dollars each month on our Verizon products and services but unfortunately I will never visit the store closest to my home because of her. Verizon can and should do better. Your customers are the reason you exist.

Went in to buy a screen protector for my iPad, and was told I have to wait over a half hour just to check out. This is a bit ridiculous, I have to wait that long just to give you my business? You make enough money, hire someone to cash people out that don’t require assistance. But then you might miss out on the up-sales, so I guess you don’t want people to get in and out. In any case, I didn’t wait, and went to best buy instead. So you not only didn’t get to sell me anything other than what I went in there for, you lost that sale entirely. Not too wise.

Ummm actually my clerk was incorrect and I was not able to keep my unlimited data plan. I got a text message 1 week after my upgrade and renewal that I had torn thought half of my allotted plan. I called the 800 number and was informed that«no the clerk was wrong, you have 2GB». She is lucky that it is only $ 10 more per month. And it wasn’t just the clerk, the website was wrong too. They all need to get on the same page.

I’m staying in tonight with a headache, figured I’d share my Verizon experience with you from a little while ago. I went to get a charger. Simple mundane errand. Found charger and placed it on the back counter, guy says«can I help you?» in italics. I say«yes, I’d like to buy this». Guy says«well, this is the service rep area, «you don’t just put stuff on our counter» «if you’d like to buy that you need to take it to the people who ring things out». I honestly could have sworn I saw an exchange of cash between a customer and the other service rep, so I honestly thought I could ring out there. So I say«well, isn’t a service rep here for service, as in helping customers?». I think he said something about service reps being for phone service and not customers. I asked if he was seriously not going to ring me out to which he pretty much said no he wasn’t. I was going to let it go, but after leaving without my charger and having to go to a different store to get one I decided to call up their 1 – 800 number. They told me they would send me a voucher to use for whatever and a charger. They then asked what the«service reps» names was. I didn’t know so I went back and said«can I have your name, I called corporate to complain and they’d like it». He gave me his name, I said«thank you for not helping me» and he replied«thank you for being rude». Was I going to call back corporate with his name? I don’t know, given time maybe I would have cooled down and reflected on my time in retail. Maybe I would have said eh, he’s having a bad day let it go. But the thing is he wouldn’t let it go! «thank you for being rude» eh? Well, I hope he thinks it was really rude to call back corporate with his name. Which I don’t think I’m allowed to say online(?) but it rhymes with hat.
