I was in dire need of a haircut and highlights and Stephanie came to the rescue. She is a game changer with her guest service, talent, massages, and much more. The salon is comfortable to walk into and everyone is friendly. Already have my next appointment booked!

100 stars for Stephanie Cross. She is the only one I trust to do my hair. I have very fine and long mouse brown hair she keeps blonde and beautiful. I get so many compliments on the health of my hair and many are surprised I bleach it as much as I do and it is all Stephanie. She used to work in Reno but relocated her work closer to home in Truckee and I followed her without hesitation. She drove 2.5 hours each way to style my hair for my wedding. She has always done an amazing job and once I had a wild hair to go ash blonde and when she could tell I didn’t like it, she had me come back the next day and fixed it for free back to the way I like it. I trust her judgement and her opinion more than my own (especially after my ash blonde moment). She is worth the drive from Reno, her work is worth every penny I have ever spent and more. I love Stephanie and I will go to her as long as she is doing hair and I will probably plead like a baby for her to keep seeing me after she retires.

Great haircut but color wasn’t anything like the picture I provided. Normally it wouldn’t be a problem but I have short hair and for a cut and some bleach highlights, it was $ 185. It just wasn’t worth it. Plus, when I contacted the owner to have the color redone she made it uncomfortable and difficult.

Stephanie Cross is amazing! After having (2) total botched haircuts in 1 week at another downtown Truckee salon, I called Glow desperately needing a good (& even) haircut. Stephanie delivered & then some. She listened & was empathetic with my situation & then went on to give me a GREAT haircut. I will definitely be going back to her as she has earned my trust & showed she is an excellent stylist.
Oh, and she didn’t charge me for a full price since I’d just paid for 2 bad haircuts which I thought was above & beyond since none of this was her fault.

I want to give a shout out to Lou LaManna who is an esthetician and massage therapist at Glow. She gave me a facial this winter and it has to be one of the best facial experiences I have ever had… and I have had a few. We talked about the specifics of my skin. She spoke to me about what she was using and doing, and she is super sweet and soothing. BUT the absolute highlight was the head, neck, and shoulder massage. It was truly the best I have ever had. Seriously I was transported. We gals hold lots of tension in these areas from too much driving and too many hours on the computer. Lou really got to all the bad spots and it felt amazing. Her touch was just right. Book Lou for your facial and massage!

Jaime has been doing my hair for years. She is the only person I trust to whack off significant amounts of hair when I get that crazy urge. I live in reno now and still commute to Glow for my haircuts. It’s worth the drive.

It was very easy to get an appointment at Glow. They returned my message promptly and were able to fit in an appointment when I needed one. Service was friendly.

I got a great facial from Lou last weekend! She was recommended to me from friend and was amazing! It was so relaxing. I highly recommend her!

Really like this salon. For one, Lou is just about the sweetest person ever — I highly recommend going to see her for just about anything skin-​related ;-). I also really like their Versaspa tanning service — the tan lasts WAY LONGER than any other spray tan I’ve ever had.
