One of North Tahoe/Truckee’s best local news rags, just chock a block with events and news articles. Always worth a pick up to read and catch up what’s going in the area. The staff are very cooperative if you have an event or press release you want them to feature. Sometimes I feel it’s a little too much leaning towards the woo woo side — by that I mean just how many times can the words «yoga», «organic» and «spiritual» be used on one page, but I’ll let them slide — no harm done.

Moonshine ink is a great news magazine with local stories and informational pieces. I see moonshine all over truckee and always pick one up and browse the articles for reads that interest me. I’m never let down. Moonshine ink is down to earth and should be in every locals home. Affordable and informative
