After filling this same prescription 10 times in the past 12 months, I was informed today by the pharmacist that he would no longer fill it because he couldn’t make a profit. His wonderful staff cannot make up for this man’s greed. I will never go back!

My family and I, five of us, used Tahoe Forest Pharmacy for years. The staff was always super helpful. I was seriously hurt at work a couple years ago and have a problem getting around, so having the pharmacy just downstairs from my physician was very helpful. About 3 weeks ago I was notified that Tahoe Forest Pharmacy would no longer fill my prescriptions from Express Scripts because they weren’t making enough money. I may be wrong but I thought the pharmacy is part of the Tahoe Forest Hospital system, you know the one we vote bond money for.

I came to Tahoe for the first weekend of the season and forgot my prescription medications. This happened once before and I ended up at Safeway and it was difficult and took forever. Sarah at Tahoe Forest Pharmacy was super helpful. They transferred my prescription, figured out the insurance, and took my HSA payment over the phone. I will go back here for all my Tahoe pharmacy needs from now on!

This little pharmacy is tucked into a medical office building. We stopped in to pick up some cough drops, and the clerk came over to us to see if we needed help, offered suggestions, etc. — over and above what I would expect in a drugstore! They had a pharmacist on duty, and a small but decent selection of over-the-counter medications, medical supplies like braces/wraps, breast-feeding supplies, and more. The staff was very helpful, and shopping here was a very pleasant experience. I would stop here again vs. one of the chain stores.
