Love this ice cream place! Great selection of treats including fro yogurt and a vegan option, hard and soft-​serve, flurries and all the shake and sundae options you need. Nice shady seating, friendly, efficient staff and a few non-​ice cream food options, too. Just the kind of place you want to ride your bike to on a summer evening.

This is as good as it gets for a small town side of the road soft serve ice cream establishment. I also really enjoy the fact that they offer a variety of sizes… I’m a small ice cream cone type person and I like being able to order a cone, as an adult, that I’m going to be able to finish. I regularly drive out here from downtown Ithaca for ice cream and prefer this to the purity ice cream parlor experience.

Not My Dad’s offers soft serve, hard ice cream, sundaes, shakes, etc. — plenty of options for ice cream lovers, and the simplest vanilla soft serve is super rich and delicious. They also have a variety of sizes, which is nice for those of us who have eyes bigger than our stomachs and can’t stand to waste such a tasty treat. The location is ok, depending on where you are. If you’re near Taughannock Falls, drive the extra 10 minutes to get to this place. Every time I travel home from California I make sure to go at least once. My favorites are the triple berry sundae and classic hot fudge sundae.

Pleasant Hill, CA
If you like soft serve and big portions this is the place to go. The toppings and dips are varied and include things I’ve never had before. If you are jonesing for some soft serve and happen to be in Trumansburg stop on by. I would recommend the hot fudge sundae and the triple berry sundae.
