I just had my wedding band resized, and the jeweler did a flawless job. He’s clearly very experienced. The best part? It took less than an hour and only cost $ 40! The mom and pop place I used to use costs double that and takes a couple of days to a week. (Don’t go to Kay, Jared, Micheal’s, etc. for repairs — they outsource and you pay through the nose.)
The Jeweler carefully explained risks and limitations (my ring has a brushed finish and intricate bevel) before accepting the job. I felt confident that he’d make me happy based on his explanation and went for it. I was a bit surprised to get the ring back looking exactly like it did before I dropped it off. He *exactly* matched the brushed look. He’s got skills.
Anyway, I wish I’d caught his name, but you want the gentleman with the white beard. Maybe he’s the only one/franchise owner? Helper said he’s there 10 – 3 doing repairs. I will absolutely use him again.
