The previous owners /management at Marie’s weren’t great so my fiancé and I stopped going for a while(although the food was very good). I went in on Saturday afternoon with my mom and the owner stayed open just to serve us! He was very friendly and the food was delicious! We had a great, fresh falafel plate and a really, really good Tuscan chicken sandwich with eggplant, fresh mozz, you name it! I’d definitely give Marie’s more chances now that new ownership is there! Try it for breakfast or lunch if you haven’t already!

Went for lunch for the first time. New owners has brought a Mediterranean focus. Had the lamb Shwarma which was good. A little pricey but a good choice for lunch.

The corned beef hash was mostly potatoes. Very less beef and not seasoned at all. The home fries were bland too. You have to put some salt and pepper to make it edible. I can’t believe it costs $ 10 for mostly potatoes and very less beef. Not worth it. The orange colored waitress was very unfriendly and kept giving us looks like we were not welcome there. But the waitress who served us was ok.

A GEM in Trumbull The wonderful tradition of Marie’s lives under new ownership, with a twist. This cozy place, is now the home of the best Middle Eastern in the area. Open for Breakfast and Lunch. You need to try the falafel and chicken Shawarma OMG

First visit to Marie’s since it reopened. My breakfast could not have been better. WOW. Homemade banana nut and morning glory muffins right out of the oven were spectacular ! Corned beef hash with eggs cooked just right(not runny, not rubber). The waitstaff was attentive and very friendly.

Nice local place for breakfast. The food is great, especially the homemade corned beef hash. The service is just ok, and the atmosphere is a bit lacking. But the food is generally worth it.

Ok so we tried maries again this weekend nothing changed. Wanted to give them another try to get it right. Tried three times to get a simple order right and just couldn’t do it. Took forever to even get food and then it was wrong. I want this place to be good to fill the void in trumbull but just can’t grasp it. Not sure why everyone is so happy it’s open just throwing money away going to eat there sorry don’t get all the hype. They dumped a ton of money into this place but it’s still cold and not welcoming.
