Planet Fitness – Trumbull

Decent gym friendly staff which is always amazing to have might I also add very rare. My girlfriend and I really appreciate the people who work here.
One huge complaint, The Internet Ducking Sucks!!!
Please Fix!!! It’s always one excuse after another why it doesn’t work. How can I work out without tunes in my ear? It’s like coming here and there not being equipment to work out with. STEP IT UP YOUR IN TRUMBULL. You should be able to afford the small simple things such as WORKING WIFI.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of using this place instead of my home gym. What a mess. The gym is filthy, the locker rooms are a disgrace, and the people are there to hang out. I saw a girl in there using a electronic cigarette? !!! C’mon! Good luck trying getting inside without getting robbed by the people «chilling» in the parking lot or your car getting broken into. You would be better of getting a membership at a local correctional facility than this place. Stay away!!!

Out of all of the planet fitness that I’ve been to (Milford, Trumbull, Stamford, and Fairfield)
This is by far the best facility that I’ve used.
More machines, water jet massage, water fountains w/​automatic bottle fillers… By far the biggest planet fitness I’ve seen so far

Sadly… This PF is now an all machine gym! No benches, barbells, or anything useful for a person actually trying to lose weight and keep it off! Also, it’s not a judgement free zone nor has it ever been! It doesn’t bother me at all but people wear whatever they want here…

Well i hate to do this, but unfortunetly the higher ups in planet fitness corporate offices decided that the customers here no longer need weight benches or free weights to work out with!
I had the unpleasant surprise of finding this out when i came back last week and over the weekend they took away all of the free wieghts. The «regional» manager said it was never Planet Fitness’ model to have that type of equipment and that i should give it a chance and i would get used to the new machines they have in their place.
I didn’t and terminated my membership along with a ton of other people there. I looked around today and all i saw was very old people who looked like then were in a rehab center rather than a fitness one.
Also i had to pay for the month of October because of some 30 day billing cycle hog wash. eh whatever! So if you go, and their is no one there except for the old and feeble, everyone else went to the edge where they give the PEOPLE what they want.
Sorry PF corporate made a bone head move, and it may be too late for them to get that fire back they once had.

Love it! Huge, 2 floors, TONS of equipment– you will barely wait, if ever, for the machine you desire. The tanning is excellent. The staff is friendly when they decide to be but it’s not like you’re there to socialize with them anyway. Definitely my favorite pf location. Only downfall– there is no wifi. There is spotty wifi here and there but barely any 3G or LTE for pandora or online use. Other than that I would definitely suggest it. Good for guests as well!

This place was once a clean and uncrowded place to work. Now it is a sweaty, smelly inferno. I would rather pay 150 a month, which I paid at Equinox in NYC, however, this is the only place in Trumbull to work out and I do not want to drive that far for a 30 minute workout.
The $ 10 price per month is what really drove this place into the depths of hell. They probably make more money on the people not going in than the people who use the «facilities». I haven’t worked out here in almost one year and I was told to cancel I had to come in in person or send a letter through the mail, which I did. I never checked my account and when I did I noticed the charges. I spoke to the overseer, Debbie, who was unhelpful, and not any more knowledgeable than the desk help. She told me that I need to have a certified letter sent. Planet Fitness is now up there with cell phone companies in my list of companies that suck because of their cancellation policies. Hey guess what Debbie, if you didnt have my CC info, you’d have lost my business one year ago. You guys smell just like the gym your rotting in… Equinox or NY Sports Club for me.
