Unfortunately I had the displeasure to get my eyebrows done at this very unprofessional salon. An inexperienced and careless woman burned my skin and then had the audacity to get upset when I called her out on it. The manager was not any better, as he was abrasive unapologetic, and disrespectful with me. The refund they provided was the least of my concerns as their inexcusable bad service caused a very painful burn. Please note that I hardly ever write reviews. I just want to give others a heads-up to avoid this place if experience, good customer service, and common decency matters to you.

I’ll start with this– I drive an hour to come here. Do you know how hard it is to find a quality men’s haircut these days? My whole life my hair’s just been blah– same style since middle school. Walked out of my first trip to Prestige looking and feeling like a GQ magazine cover, thanks to stylist Mario. The ENTIRE staff knows what they’re doing and does it incredibly precise. I’ve been seeing Rita for over a year and she is incredibly talented, friendly, and remembers me by name. Your favorite stylist not in that day? No worries. Anyone working there will give you a top of the line haircut.(And not to mention straight razor shave upon request) The talent level here is incredible and their newly redesigned and expanded salon is comfortable and spacious

While doing some last minute holiday shopping in the Trumbull mall, my husband was saying that he wanted to get his hair cut and shortly after we stumbled upon Prestige Salon. It looks like they acquired two stores and knocked down part of the separating wall to make a pretty nice-sized salon. We were directed to the right side where there were 6 chairs with men working on other men’s hair. I usually never go with my husband to get his hair cut, so I’m not sure what it’s normally like, but I immediately noticed the rapport that everyone working there had with their repeat customers. They remembered names of not only their clients, but their family members as well. My husband got his hair cut by Matt, who really took his time to listen to how my husband wanted his hair cut and took his time making sure it was what he had asked for. This is honestly one of the best hair cuts my husband has received and he will definitely return the next time we are in Connecticut. The salon was very bright and inviting and also very clean!

Tried the salon for first and last time. It was to crowded, the seats were to close to each other. The woman who was getting her hair blow dried next to me had her hair pieces falling on my lap and i had the air from the blower wind at my leg. Its over priced, 140.00. I asked for a color and cut for short hair. My hair came out to be copper when i specifically said i did not want that. The hair dresser tried to convince me it looked nice so that she wouldnt have to put the work in to put toner on my hair. I wanted an angle bob from the get go and stated that and when time came to cut my hair she said if she cuts it that short that the work she put in would be for nothing. But i didnt want an ombré and thats what i ended up with. A one tone copper/orange ombré that looks like my roots are growing out rather than anything. So i had a different cut and color and paid a lot of money for it. The hair dressers also talk to much to each other and lose focus. Unprofessional and untalented for that price.
