I just started getting my nails done again after 10+ yrs of not splurging on myself. I decided to try this salon as it’s close by and they offer a massage with your service. My first experience here was fine, and I was happy. My second experience here, upon me walking in I told them I’d like to look at the gel nail colors(which are located in a portable basket where the customers get their nails done). They immediately seated me with an employee who wanted to start my manicure. I politely explained that I still hadn’t picked a color. She said, No, problem, but continued on. When she was ready to do my nails she said color please. I said I haven’t picked one yet.(I need to hold the nail samples up to my hand in order to choose & only had on free hand). She said ok, no problem and made a personal call on her phone while I decided for the next minute. That visit ended up fine she did a mediocre job, and the massage was ok. My last and final visit to this salon came over the weekend. I entered the salon and told them I needed to pick a color again. They immediately sat me with someone again. I told her I needed a few minutes. She didn’t listen and started my nails. When she finished manicuring them she asked for the color, I told her I still needed to pick it out, however, I had it narrowed down to 5 colors. Immediately, she told me you need to pick the color right now. Then the owner yelled across the salon at me in front of all the customers and said we have customers waiting you need to pick right now. I wanted to tell them it would only take a minute(and the new customers had just entered the salon I’m sure they wouldn’t mind a seated customer in the middle of her salon experience pausing to pick a color for a minute or two), but instead I felt very uncomfortable as all eyes were on me in the salon and I offered to leave and come back at a different time. The owner said, No, don’t leave.” So I stayed and said why don’t you have the new customers go if you can’t give me a minute. The owner immediately gave my seat the the customer that had just walked in less than 5 minutes before me. I then sat in a chair for 20+ minutes waiting for her to finish so she could paint my nails. She did come back to me in between her other customer and quickly put a polish on my nails. I noticed there were creases in it. So she took most of it off and replaced it. Then she proceeded to paint my nails, and I noticed it was all bumpy(and so did she judging by the way she was looking at my nails from different angles), but she kept going. So I asked her if she was going to fix it. She proceeded to take the polish off aggressively, and called another employee over to paint them. This other employee painted my nails well and took her time. Then, she was told to go to a new customer. The owner than came over to me, and said did you pick you color out, smiling. She then quickly applied lotion to my hands rubbed it in, and said your done. I asked, «What about my massage?» She said, «Next time you can have double the massage we are closing.» As she said that I turned my head to look at the clock and I saw another customer getting a massage at that moment, and I also noticed it was 6:15, and the salon closed @ 6:30. I was really upset by this treatment. I was looking forward to my few minutes of pampering, and really since the first massage was nice hoping I would receive the same treatment, but they are not consistent here. The other problem is all customers should be listened to and told to pick a color before they are seated with a staff member to avoid situations like that. I felt it was really poor judgement to tell a paying customer that they should wait until«next time» for the massage they provide with each service when that customer had started their service well before closing time, and the place wasn’t even closed yet. I also felt it was poor judgement to allow a new customer to get waited on rather than letting a customer that is in the middle of their service take another minute or two to pick a color especially when that customer had told them she needed to pick a color out upon her arrival into the salon. I will not be back. I booked an hour long massage at Massage Envy and will try another Nail salon on White Plains Rd that has higher reviews anyway.

Worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. The woman took 2HOURS to do a fill. Three of my nails were broken and instead of fixing them she filed them all the way down and kept the other ones long, it looked extremely bad and awkward. I asked her towards the end why she didn’t fix them and she literally yelled at me «this is a fill, not a full set!» I then asked her to fix them and said I would pay extra but she told me there was no time and to come back another day. I was leaving for vacation the next morning and could not come in. She then told me she would give me a discount but ended up charging her mind and charged me $ 55 for the fill.

AWFUL experience here a few weeks ago. I went on a Monday, the day before leaving for vacation. I specifically chose this place because I noticed they had a special for Mani-Pedi Monday– Friday. I figured there would be additional fees because I wanted gel polish and French for both, but I assumed they would be added to the special base price– boy was I wrong. A few minutes into the pedicure, the owner came up to me and said«you know that’s expensive right?» so I asked how much it would be. She quoted me $ 108. I mentioned the sign about the special, and she said«It doesn’t work like that, that doesn’t apply to Gel. I asked if she could just add the fee for Gel and French to the sale price, and she said«No, it doesn’t work like that» I don’t get my nails done too often, maybe every other month or so, but when I do I like it to last, so I usually get Gel French on both nails and toes. I’ve gone to a variety of salons, and I know prices vary, but $ 108?! I was obviously upset, and asked if there was anything she could work out with me. I didn’t want to walk out mid– pedicure, but I was leaving for vacation and a wedding, and couldn’t pay that much just to get my nails done. Eventually she agreed to waive the fee for French, and lowered the price to $ 80. I wasn’t happy, but I didn’t want to leave so I said I would pay the $ 80(which after taxes and tip was over $ 90). As I was getting the pedicure, another girl came over and started on my nails. Maybe it was because I couldn’t be completely still since I was getting my toes done at the same time, or maybe this girl just sucks, but the nails were atrocious. I am not the type to complain(I NEVER send food back at a restaurant, and have never before complained after other slightly disappointing nail experiences, but this was just AWFUL). The nails were different lengths, the width of the lines were inconsistent, and bumpy, it was just terrible. I pointed out a few problems with the manicure, and the girl says«oh no it’s fine». I’d had enough so I told her it most certainly not fine, so she threw down her supplies and walked away. When the lady doing my toes was done, she re-did the nails(even she admitted that she couldn’t fix it without completely starting over). Everything came out nice in the end, but it did NOT last. I’ve never had a gel manicure crack after just three days, before this place. I’ve never even had a gel manicure crack at all! I usually can keep the polish on until they grow out, but this was completely disgusting looking after less than a week. Had I known this would be the case, I would have paid for the regular polish and saved myself $ 60. Will NEVER be back.

I have been coming here for a couple of years now and they’re great. They are very nice and if you go enough, they remember you as soon as you walk in. Some speak better English than others. Ava is my favorite. She pays attention to detail and takes her time. A polish change is $ 8, a basic manicure is $ 10, and if you decide to get a mani and pedi on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, it’s only $ 25 for both! Often times they’ll even give a little hot stone massage on your back as your nails dry at the dryers. I have also had a few of their special pedicures including the lavender one and another(I don’t remember which). They take their time and you feel great after!

This is my Mom and my go-to place for pedicures in Trumbull. It’s $ 25 + tax, but we usually come for their weekly special which is a manicure AND pedicure for $ 30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. The owner is so sweet and always remembers us even though we only come in once every few months, she even gave us gifts when we came in around New Years. And I especially love the shoulder and back massage while your nails are drying!
