Fun place to go. Friendly service. My daughter loved sitting at the counter. Great coffee. The caramel pecan cappuccino was fantastic. My daughter said the ice cream was ‘gwate’!

All our food was fresh and delicious. Not sure what the other lady was talking about the potato soup but mine was excellent. Would recommend for a great lunch place

This is the second time we’ve been here and I hate that we will probably not be back. The food and service were both very poor. We went on the day they were supposed to serve tomato soup and our waitress responded with«Well we just opened» so I got potato and it was freezing cold and the potatoes were undercooked. Eh we gave it two chances but sadly it’s a no go for us!

Very quaint place to eat. Mostly a woman’s place but men were there too. Had the chicken salad croissant. Salad contained grapes and nuts. Came with a bag of chips and a dill pickle. Very large sandwich which can be split between two people if you do not have a large appetite. Did not eat dessert or ice cream since I was full from sandwich. Saw a few other things on the menu I want to try later. Did not give 4 stars due to service. Little slow.

The majority of the food is great. All of the sandwiches are great as well as the soups. The appetizers are okay. The deserts are great! The only reason they do not get 5 stars is the service. It is slow and the not very friendly, not rude or anything but your never going to get great, fast service. I would only go if I was wanting a lunch out that I was planning on having lots and lots of conversation with no plans to be anywhere afterwards.

Love this place! Great food, great ice cream, great people. Highly recommended. It’s located in the downtown part of trussville with plenty if shopping in walking distance. Love going here!

The chicken salad was good. Menu prices were different than what the older lady at the register charged. When brought to her attention she was very argumentative with my husband.

My family and I are new to the area, and were very excited to try this quaint looking little ice cream shop. My young daughter had her heart set on either a root beer float or a banana split. The website and the sign on the front door said the Saturday hours were 11am — 4pm, so we were beyond disappointed when, at 3:25pm we arrived to find the door locked with a big«Closed» sign in the window. A lady, who was standing just inside, opened the door and said«I’m sorry» and then closed the door again with no further explanation. What is the point of having posted business hours if you’re going to close whenever you feel like it? You’ve lost our business.

It’s all about the ice cream sandwiches. No, I mean the ice cream AND sandwiches. Located in historic downtown Trussville, a scene most people consider a simple traffic light, is a concept of the past… A soda fountain, but with modern convenience. It’s really something you just have to experience for yourself. I have lived in Trussville for years before finally trying it. I can definitely recommend the hot fudge sundae. My wife had the Ruben sandwich, she was quite pleased. The prices are a little higher than one would expect to pay. Sodas are $ 2.50, the 3 cheese grilled cheese is like $ 7.50. Despite these prices, the experience is still priceless. A great place for a quiet lunch, far away from the hustle of Birmingham. The parking is mostly in an alley area, and takes a little navigational skill to get to but the signs are clearly marked. The current health rating is a 95, and pretty spotless. The style of the Three Eared Rabbit is a little hard to explain, it’s really something you have to try for yourself. If you are like me, and have driven by countless times, you are missing out.

A slice of Americana. The three ear rabbit is part soda shop part café. I had the chili and three chesse grilled cheese. The chili was awesome and the sandwich was solid. Should I do dessert? I hear that their backed goods are rockin’.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I love the décor. It’s a soda shop but it’s fancy. The soda fountain area reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. It has an awesome mural. Then there is a dining room next to the fountain area and it reminds you of your grandmother’s dining room. There are big dining tables in that room and it’s great for small gatherings of friends. We actually had my cousin’s baby«sprinkle» there. I love the pimento cheese! It has a nutty taste to it. The waitress actually talked me into a grilled pimento cheese. It was so awesome. The chicken salad, fruit salad, and black eyed pea salsa(texas caviar) are all delicious as well. I really don’t go there for the ice cream, but their cakes are yummy!
