So glad to have this place close to home and open until 7pm on the weekdays so I can come in after work at 5pm. Oftentimes, tailoring places are closed by the time I get off work.
I brought in a dress that needed to be shortened in a rush! I brought it in Monday evening and needed it by Thursday. Evan was very sweet and knew what he was doing.
Sure enough, the dress was all ready for me to pick up Thursday evening. A sewing job well done! I was charged $ 40, which isn’t bad considering the material of the dress and how quickly it got done. The dress was a hit when I wore it to the Portland Youth Philharmonic at Arelene Schnitzer Hall on Saturday night.
I’m very pleased and will be returning here for my future tailoring or hemming needs. Oh, p. s. cash or checks accepted only so be prepared. You can pay before or after pick up.

I took in a pair of jeans and a dress to be shortened and a dress to be altered in the sleeves. All three were done perfectly, in a very reasonable time frame, and a fair price. I will be returning with more pieces that need to be altered in the future.

The sweet gentleman Evan, who does the tailoring here, was so very kind and efficient with my husband and me! I can’t say enough good things about him! We walked in and his shop is small but laid out well. He greeted us and seemed genuinely happy to see us and have our business. Having never gone here before, it was nice to feel immediately welcomed. My husband needed a suit taken in, as he has lost weight. I needed a bridesmaid dress shortened. He was very good at placing onus quickly and correctly along the seams that needed to be taken in. He was happy to here we didn’t need our garments back for about 2 weeks. On the way out, he thanked us very much for our business. Very kind elderly gentleman. We’ll definitely be back.

This business has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The first time I went in with a jacket with too-​tight sleeves. They said nothing could be done, and I thought okay, it was a long shot anyway. I got the jacket in a larger size to fit in the sleeves and needed it taken in at the waist as it now fit me like a bag. After pinching at me, the man there concluded that it didn’t need to be taken in. When I said that I nevertheless would like it altered, he repeated that it didn’t need it because it was a winter jacket, and refused to do it. I will never take anything here again.
