Our Personal Touch

I purchased a sharing spree for a shellac manicure at Our Personal Touch Salon.
I was contacted by Heather an independant contractor out of the salon. The day after, the tips of my fingers were peeling. I contacted Heather and she could not see me for six days, she told me to apply clear polish in the meantime.
The afternoon of the touch up appointment I could not make because of work constraints, I called to reschedule and she could not see me for two more weeks. By this time every finger was peeling on a treament that I was told would last three weeks. I told Heather that I was dissapointed it would take so long to repair the problem. I said I had paid good money for a service that should have lasted more than one day. She said «well didn’t you have a sharing spree?»
Since I did not pay full price, I guess I received sub standard service, even though I left a very generous tip. I called the salon to voice my dissatisfaction, the manager was not in so I left a messge for a call back. With in a few minutes, Heather called me telling me it would do me no good to complain, since she was an independent contractor. I feel like since I purchased the spree for Our Personal Touch Salon, the management would want to know. I never did get a call back from the manager.

I found this salon through an online sharing spree — I was tired of paying $ 50 for a haircut that took 5 minutes and I was never very happy with, and was hoping to try something else. Amber at Our Personal Touch did not disappoint.
I admit I was a little nervous when I pulled up in front of the salon and saw some ladies my grandmother’s age milling about — I’m used to frequenting salons that are «trendy and young.’ I needn’t have been worried. Amber greeted me right away and was incredibly friendly and bubbly. She came to the salon recently from a place in Eugene, and still has college girls from U of O drive up to see her — now THAT says a lot about her skills.
I described what I wanted (blunt cut trim, bangs that brush my eyebrows and are worn to the side), and she listened very attentively. Throughout the hair cut, she asked for my thoughts and I left the salon feeling like I got the exact haircut I wanted at a killer price.
Even though this salon is a bit out of the way, it’s worth it for the good price and great hair cut. I’d recommend Amber to anyone looking for an attentive hair dresser and a fabulous hair cut!

Sherry is a very talented stylist. I have been going to her for color for sometime now. She gets it right every time. The salon is all up dated and fun to spend time.

Heather did a great job with cutting my hair she took her time and gave me exactly what I asked for. I would recommend her to anyone.

I originally came in here expecting a gel full set. i came out with a cheap, crappy gelish manicure. the french was crooked. there was no attention to detail, and the woman who did my nails wasnt very nice. the atmosphere looked cheap and i believe i saw the waxing area. yikes! never will go back.
