This is a really nice park. It’s clean. The tennis, basketball, baseball and skate park are all well lit. The playground isn’t. But it’s pretty fun. It’s small but it’s still cool. No one else was there so we could run through the equipment like an obstacle course. Lots of climbing and spinning, along with some regular swings. It looked there was also a dog park. You can check equipment out at the rec center(or so it says on the sign). We’ll have to come back!

Convenient park with just about everything. There’s a basketball court(see photo) that has a set of regular size hoops and then some lowered ones for white dudes who can’t jump and want to pretend they can. I was there after work and it was dominated by a bunch of highschool hipster flunkies with tight jeans and beanies on in the 80 degree weather. There’s a nice play area for kids if you have those.(see photo) Baseball field. There’s a trail along the river in the woods(see photo), but has a pretty strong rapey vibe. There’s a skatepark here too. Half of them can be found in the woods smokin’ trees and playing whack music in the forest area. I recommend talking a walk on the paved path next to the dog park(see photo) that leads to a nice footbridge over the river. This also leads to Cook’s park for another .5 mile stroll past a preserved prairie with birds chirping and flowers around. Basically, this park covers all the age groups. For ninos there’s an expansive playground, for tweens there’s hoops and skating, for soccer moms there a field and dog park, and for everyone there’s nice bike/walk paths.

Nice well kept park with very large open grassy field and large play area. The play area has a good size sand pit also. The play structures are a bit too modern for my taste. Better for older kids, not as good for the younger kids.

This is a nice hidden park right in the middle of town. We happened to go kayaking from here today and it was a nice put in. The Tualatin river offers some nice paddling… but the river is only a step above the Williamette in terms of cleanliness it seems. No real current so its great for the beginning kayaker.

When I first moved to Tualatin in the mid 90s, this was the«scary» park in town. Old play structures(the kind where I felt the little ones might be in mortal danger) and it looked neglected. Tualatin has done a great job maintaining and modernizing all their city parks and this one gets my vote for most improved. The play structure was replaced last year, but what makes this park special is the new bridge over the Tualatin River connecting it to Cook Park in Tigard and a vast trail system. There are some nice bike paths if you start at the Tualatin Park(going under the train trestle) and bike over the bridge then turn left to Cook Park. Lots of trees and a winding path that make it better than the average ride. A few other pluses at this 27 acre park are the cool skate park and boat launch on the Tualatin River. This park hosts Tualatin’s annual Crawfish Festival in the summer, the city’s Easter egg hunt and 4th of July celebrations. Now I have to take a point away because I am a sucker for a cool water feature(which this park is missing), but this park has come a long way, baby.
