Had an incredible meal tonight at Angelina’s. Had the pasta in the wheel of cheese appetizer for 2. Then my boyfriend and I shared chicken scarpariello and chicken francese with a side order of sautéed broccoli rabe. The pasta was incredible and the presentation was impressive. The Francese was delicious– the sauce was just the right mix of lemon and white wine. The scarpariello was phenomenal! Absolutely perfect and such big portions! The broccoli rabe was fresh and cooked to perfection. I had a glass of red sangria that was soso but finished the meal with a well made cappuccino. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive and professional. This may just be the best Italian restaurant in the area. For the other reviews that say they are over priced I beseech you, look at the quality, portion size and presentation– clearly you get what you pay for! I will be recommending Angelina’s to family, friends and Unilocal users looking for a top notch Italian restaurant. I know we will be back for sure!

Disappointed. Sat near the service station which was very intrusive and the acoustics made it hard to hear each other. The food was just good, not impressive and the table service was less than expected. Won’t go back again.

I have been to this restaurant many many times. I must say I have never been disappointed with their pizza. The pizzas are so fresh and very good, not too oily either. They now offer gluten free pizza which is great! I absolutely love their white slices! I absolutely love the gluten free pizza and they make it as a personal pie! It’s a bit pricey, not too bad though. They have a dining hall as well on the other side if you want to have a sit down dinner. I personally never ate in the dinning hall area. I either always take out or have the food delivered. They also offer a variety of desserts. I had the New York style cheesecake and it was good they even put whipped cream and a little bit of powdered sugar that adds a nice touch. Their pasta is also fantastic! The service was great and quick! There is always someone there ready to help you out. The restaurant is very clean in a great location! There is available street parking and a parking lot on the side as well. I would recommend this restaurant.

Pizza tasted boring. Do I dare to say, «dominoish». It was nothing impressive. Parking sucks. I think the worst part about this place is the service. Maybe not the restaurant part but the guys behind the counter are a bunch of loud D-bags. They talk and act like big tough guys and its kind of a turn off when your trying to enjoy a meal. Would never step foot in this place again.

I ordered a lasagna had it delivered. Now how is it that an Italian restaurant can’t make a simple dish. That’s like the main dish for an Italian restaurant I mean come on. I ordered it and had to throw the whole thing out it tasted gross like the meat had gone bad before they cooked it. I was so disappointed and it wasn’t like I payed $ 10 for it

Pizza by the slice was awful. It tasted like it was made the night before. Crust dry, over sauced, cheese not melted and the fountain soda was flat. I throw it out after a few bites. What a waste.

Sarah Lawrence Students! Walk around the«duck pond» — 5 laps = a mile, and after you enjoy the flora and fauna and wild life of the Bronx River, walk to «Angelina’s» for a slice. My fave? The«Reverse Grandma!» Ask for the corner! and don’t be surprised when the chef, yes he is really Italian, a rarity in Italian-American restaurants these days, sits next to you eating fresh sauté Broccoli-rabe and grilled chicken breast. and you can talk with the guys behind the counter about anything you want to know on local wildlife and more

Great restaurant. Huge portions, only one person out of 8 finished his meal. Its elegant and the waiters seems as if they went to school to learn how to be a perfect server. They start the meal with olives and warm baked bread that’s crispy and super fluffy. Also, all the meals come with either a house salad or a side of pasta. Hint: If you order the arugula salad, its enough for a meal(almost) or at least to definitely be able to split with another person. I ordered the chicken balsamico and that was probably the smallest out of the 8 but I still couldn’t finish it. Once you finally finish your meal they bring out a plate to show you the countless desserts. The key lime pie comes with a scoop of ice cream and the cannoli is deliciously sweet and literally the cream of the crop.

Unfortunately I need to take a few stars away due to what I experienced tonight. We ordered takeout in which my husband ordered chicken scarpariello, his fav… and I decided to go with the caesar salad and added grilled shrimp to it. It was good but I just can’t get over the price! Just the caesar salad without any add ons was $ 10. It consisted of romaine lettuce and a handful of croutons… FOR $ 10!!! Adding shrimp was an additional $ 6 and god forbid i wanted to add shaved parmigiano(which i thought was a standard component in caesar) would have cost me an additional $ 4. I can’t believe how they can charge that much money for such few ingredients. They really have some nerve!!!

Just went here for dinner and it was great. We shared an antipasto appetizer first. I’m not a big fan of prosciutto and those other meats but my family all loved it. For dinner we all enjoyed our meals. I had veal with eggplant that had a fantastic red sauce. My husband had classic chicken parm. My son got a unique dish that was eggplant rolletini in pesto. He loved it but I thought it was a bit heavy. Desserts were irrestible so we got a few. The cannoli was good but the tiramisu was just fair. I would return here again for sure.

Been here several times and never have I been disappointed. My favorite is the cheese wheel of course. Always look forward to eating here because I know I will be welcomed by a friendly staff and with good food. Have had my company holiday party here and they did a fantastic job.

Went with my son and ate in the pizzeria section. The calamari, chicken parm sandwich and broccoli white pizza was delicious. Will definitely be back.

I recently ate in Angelina’s family dining room with two of my older brothers. To put our party in context, we are all over 200 lbs and have experienced Westchester’s fine Italian cuisine. Our experience at Angelina’s fulfilled both our portion and quality expectations. The chicken scarpariello was incredibly savory from the chicken and sausage pieces and perfectly tangy from being cut with the cherry peppers. Pasta was well cooked and seasoned. The only thing that could have been better was the side order of meatballs, which was nothing extraordinary. The service was extremely attentive(tall gentleman with dark hair) the whole meal. Maybe we were lucky because we came in early, but the room was not overly crowded. It was a great locale to eat until we were stuffed and enjoy family stories.

I was here for a family gathering of about thirty people. Good food, I mean as good as anywhere else I’ve tried. I had a Chicken Scarpariello dish which is sautéed chicken with cherry peppers and sun dried tomatoes in a brown wine sauce. Tasty dish served nice and hot and was fresh. The salmon dish that was offered was rather bland and somewhat dry. Appeared to be the cryovac salmon that too many restaurants offer. Cavatelli with Broccoli garlic & oil was done perfectly and again, served nice and hot. If I could give five stars for service I certainly would. Didn’t get the female server’s name but she was fantastic! She was right there every time you needed anything; bravo! This is not a big place but they really pack the people in. That might be a down side. Really crowded and because the dining rooms are smaller, the noise level is higher. The real downside to this restaurant were the chairs. They may have been the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat on. They were so uncomfortable that they made you want to finish and get out.

The food is good. But there is something truly unappealing and distasteful about this place. My family and I were able to dine here one out of two attempts. The first time the food was great but the staff and other diners were not all too welcoming of my family and I. This was more noticeable the second time around. We are Hispanic and the majority, if not all, of the staff and diners were European/Italian. The hostess made us feel very uncomfortable with her stares and condescending attempt to have us wait hours for a table when there was clearly free tables and no one else waiting. I immediately told my parents that I do not want our money to be spent in a place that apparently served racism/indifference with their food. I will never come here again and discourage anyone I know to come here. It is unfortunate because the food was good but there are plenty of other BETTER Italian restaurants with amazing food, service, staff and open minded people.

Yum! Talk about an authentic Italian eatery. As soon as you walk in the accents hit you. I had the gnocchi and a slice of the thin crust spicy«Sicilian» pizza. Honestly, it was all great. They had so many pizza and pasta varieties to choose from. This place serves true New York style pizza– it really hit the spot! I sat in the cafeteria style section but they do have a fancier restaurant section with waiter service.
