The following is a letter I sent to Peco after they replaced the roof on our camper a year ago. They did offer to take another look at our trailer to see what they could do but quite frankly, I would not let them touch it again as the workmanship was horrific. I couldn’t see them being capable of fixing it as the job they did was very, very poor. I am very unhappy and disappointed in the work done on our Sunline 2363. I thought the roof looked fine but there are so many other things wrong that I don’t really know where to begin. For the price, I expected quality work restoring the interior to a nice condition. Below is a list of things that are not satisfactory: –The wrong awning was put on the trailer. I did not request the fade pattern, I requested the black/gray stripe. I can live with it but it isn’t what I ordered and it’s cheap looking. –The carpet is completely ruined. I know it had the water stain but I figured I could get that out… or at least try but it appears to have been used as a drop cloth. There are grease/glue spots all over it. It now must be replaced. –The ceiling panel that was replaced is warped. It was not installed correctly and looks very bad. –The pieces of trim that join the ceiling panels do not remotely match what is there. That stuff is sold all over the internet. Why would something that looks like a furring strip be used instead of ordering something at least close to what was there. –Where wall and cabinets join ceiling panels, I expected the hollow bead welt molding to be replaced… as opposed to a bead of caulk applied in random places. You can get 50 feet of it for $ 15. Why wasn’t that done? –In one area, the old hollow bead welt molding was obviously sliced up with a box knife or something and then it was reused… except there wasn’t enough to fill the entire space some it just arbitrarily ends. IT looks really bad and is not acceptable workmanship. You guys are professionals so I expected professional work. –The piece of exterior molding on the front right was bent when struck by the tree. It was not replaced… just sort of bent back into place with an extra screw added. It looks really bad. –There is antifreeze all over the back of the trailer around the hot water heater. I sure hope whoever winterized it made use of the bypass valve. –The front of the trailer is really warped and I am not convinced that had anything to do with the original damage, but I didn’t see the roof come off. –The fantastic fan that was working when we brought the trailer to your dealership(we used it in our driveway to help dry it out) somehow quit working and had to be replaced. It was not replaced with the same kind/quality we had though we were told it was top of the line. –There is some kind of stuff on the sides that looks like it splattered from above and someone attempted to wipe it off. It didn’t turn out so well. –It appears that instead of replacing the roof insulation, it was dried out and reused. That isn’t acceptable. I loved that little trailer but now, not so much. I am really hoping you will make things right.

We were on vacation a year ago when we stumbled upon Peco. Their prices and staff were unbelievable and we got a MUCH better price than local RV dealers. Fast forward a year later, we are camping in North FL(not even near Peco!) when our wench won’t collapse the camper top and hand cranking isn’t working! I called Peco and was given awesome instructions from a very thorough and patient serviceman(so sorry I can’t remember his name!). My only complaint is that Peco isn’t in Central Florida. Thank you Peco!!! Keep up the great work!

Just like on the old«American Top 40,» I’m sending out a long-distance dedication. While traveling back to Texas from the Smokies and pulling our RV, the rear lights went out. Not a good thing… Fortunately, we found Peco Campers. It was a Saturday, and(apparently because they are so good) they were swamped with work. Nonetheless, Adam from the service shop came out and was able to troubleshoot the broken connections. He even went far beyond the call of duty to help me replace the busted parts when he realized that a 10 minute job for him would have taken my inexperienced hands 2 hours. Peco turned what could have been a rough conclusion to a family trip into a happy ending. I’m jealous of the people around Atlanta! Now, if I could only get Peco to open a shop in central Texas…
