I love Great Clips, partially because I’m super cheap and secondly because I’m not picky about my hair. I get my haircut at all Great Clips in the Metro Atlanta area, and I’m usually pleased. Of the hundreds of times I’ve gotten my haircut, less than 5 have been terrible. I have a pixie cut, and sometimes I have to show a picture to ensure the stylists understands the cut from a visual perspective. Saying «pixie» isn’t as universal as I thought. Nonetheless, I would recommend Great Clips for haircuts only, not for color, style, or hair products. Not that they aren’t great at any of those mentioned, but I can’t vouch for it.

0 stars. This place started shaving my head against my wishes before I realized what was happening then refused to even give me any product to make up for it. My hair looks awful now thanks to them. Do not ever come here.

I said in my first review that I was not going to ever go back here but I got kind of desperate. School pictures are my daughter’s school snuck up on me and her bangs were out of control. The place I normally go was not an option this time so we thought about cutting them ourselves but I figured I would try again. ARGHHHH!!! Bangs are a little crooked but my kid has a bob, only one side of it choppy. Literally part of the right side is 1.4 inch longer than the rest. WTF???
Now, I’m truly done because I’m out money for a crappy haircut and now, I have to take her on Saturday to the place we normally go. She’d be better off with out of control bangs.
I’m serious people, don’t go here.

What prompted me to come into Great Clips was an advertisement coupon for 6.99 haircut. so i was like why not? I need a trim, and a trim was what I got! Gigi was very gracious and conservative on cutting my hair. she only took some length off the front to even out my hair from it’s post posh spice cut. So now my hair looks like a simple clean lined bob. I was indecisive about getting bangs and she said OK. just don’t do it. so that saved from going through hell down the road of trying to grow out the bangs. I would give them a 4 but i Kind of felt pressured into buying shampoo in which I really didn’t need. but I figured, heck I spent only 7.00 for a cut, and she’s trying to get some commission, so I said yes. Overall Great place for a clean trim, and simple cuts– wouldnt come here for anything too edgy.

This is the place I normally go for a haircut. They do a fine job at this one, but this is not a salon-salon. It is strictly a place for a haircut, no hair coloring or anything, and for the haircut alone they charge $ 13.00. They might do permanents, but I’m not positive as I don’t ever need those.
My mother has been going to them for years, probably since they opened. I moved to Atlanta six years ago, and have gone since I’ve been here… except recently where I went to a very WRONG Great Clips (see my horrible experience in my reviews).
All in all I’m very pleased with their services.
It is located next to I-285 in the Best Buy shopping plaza called Northlake Crossing.
