This place takes me back to my days in Athens, where Inoko Hibachi express was just around the corner. I mourned its loss for years following graduation, but hark! Hibachi Express, the unassuming co-tenant of a gas station(do yourself a favor, and don’t judge based on this fact) is just around the corner, very fast, and ridiculously yummy! Life is complete again.

Great sauce, excellently fresh tasting chicken and veggies. I was not disappointed. I will definitely make this apart of my hunger options.

A simple place with great food. Don’t let the fact they located in a gas station shopping center fool you, they have really great food. It’s ran by a husband and wife. The Mrs. remembers you after your first visit. Fast and friendly service.

Cheap, fast, and delicious. What more could you want from a hibachi place?

Nice clean place with good food. Looks very nice inside even though its next door to a gas station and a McDonald’s. Staff is friendly and they give good portions for lunch take out. Food eas very tasty and filling. The menu offers a variety of options for this quaint location. Food is prepared fresh to order. Will visit this place again.

Not good at all. Ordered extra veggies they charged me two dollars for. Then all I got were extra onions ridiculous. They make you pay all this money but they can’t deliver on the food. Plus they changed the yum yum sauce like YUCK!!!

Awesome Hibachi. My meal was made to order so I was able to customize it. Very friendly staff. You get a lot of food for your money. I will be back!

Nothing Hibachi about the food. Definatley do not get a char grilled taste from the hibachi grill. The food is really bland as if they stired everything around in water and little soy sauce. Price was great and food is okay if you don’t know what Hibachi is supposed to taste like.

Giving this place 2 stars was hard for me. Li only did that because the owners are really nice. But if you ever had REAL hibachi, this isn’t the place for you. They don’t even put garlic butter on the fried rice for goodness sake!

Everytime I go here, I’m always satisfied with the food. It’s consistent, cheap, and very good! I normally get the chicken or steak hibachi with carrots. The carrots are amazingly good! It’s sweet but not too sweet. I think what makes the meal so good is defintely the hibatchi mayo that comes on the side. The workers are very nice as well.

Cheap but good and quick! The owners are super nice and the small portion was more than enough for lunch.

Relatively new to the area and I was looking for a good hibachi spot. I read the reviews on here and decided to give the place a shot. Very close to my house so that’s a plus. They have really good prices and the service is speedy. They don’t have very much on the menu, which made my decision very easy lol. Instead of veggies, they gave me more rice, which was nice. Only problem– not enough meat with the regular meal. Other than that, this place is a winner! I’ll be back for my next hibachi craving!

I happened to be in the Tucker area one afternoon around lunch time and this place popped into my head. After living in Athens for a few years, Inoko Express holds a special place in my heart. Unfortunately, there aren’t many places like it around Atlanta. I remembered that this place existed and decided that I needed to try it since I’m so rarely in this part of town. It’s a smallish space attached to a gas station. It’s nothing fancy — exactly what I’ve come to expect from these hibachi express type places. I ordered the hibachi steak, shrimp, and scallops. It wasn’t super impressive, but it hit the spot. I think there is some expectation of greasy, overcooked deliciousness at a place like this. And that’s fine by me. Prices are on par with other places like this, so expect to pay about 9 or 10 bucks. The staff is friendly and the service is relatively quick. So if you’re looking for some low-budget quick hibachi goodness, this might be your place.

I’ve been missing Inoko Express from my days in Athens. It’s so good to have fresh hibachi for one! They are really sweet. The place is clean and brand new. I agree the location is awkward but between this and the neighborhood of Brookhaven I’ve just gotten used to seeing a few random spots and I’ve come to appreciate them. I’ve found my fix in this place! Yum

I really cannot understand how this place managed 4 stars. As previous reviewer said, the portions were quite small for the price. The vegetables were noticeably more plentiful than the meat. The flavors were not great. I enjoy better Teriyaki chicken in the food court at Lenox than I experienced here. I did not try their sushi, so I cannot comment on it. The only redeeming factor about this place was the cute Korean couple that ran the place. They were very nice, but the food was not that great. I really love to support local businesses, but I can’t go as far as wasting money on a meal I don’t enjoy.

Great food … Odd location. Don’t let that fool you! Sadly, closed on sundays, which makes you want it more — just like that other place that is closed on sunday!

This place had the same name of that used to be in my college town. So I was anxious to see it open. The hibachi is good. I get it every time. If you are looking for a large menu, this is not your place. But if you are looking for great Hibachi that is made to order, reasonably priced. If you are not eating here, you are missing out. The place is clean, and the owners know me by name.

This place is right next to a gas station and has the most simple menu ive ever seen. They have korean tacos and hibachi with steak chicken or shrimp. I got the hibachi and it was not very much meat with alot of vegetables. It was pretty much anything you would get at a buffet style place with a hibachi bar. Nothing really special but if I ever go back ill try the tacos.

This place won’t disappoint you. Great service! Ran by the owners. All food is fresh and made to order. Chicken hibachi is only 5.99! And a good portion. They also have large for a couple bucks more. Steak korean tacos are pretty good and cheap. Salad has authentic dressing and green tea is just right for 1.49. All in all best hibachi in tucker. Trust meeeeee

Well what do we have here? A new Hibachi Restaurant you say? I was hesitant to come here because when I saw the place, I thought it was inside the chevron gas station, but no, it’s its own store, situated between the Chevron and Mc. Donalds off Lavista road. So what’s in the store? I’d be lying if I said this is a huge restaurant, but with«express» in the name, if you expected a couple of tables and a counter to sit/eat at, you’d be right. This evening I ordered their large Hibachi Chicken entrée for $ 8.89 to go. The chicken was Juicy, tasty and cooked fresh on the spot, along with rice and vegetables, complete with a Hibachi sauce. They give you tons of meat and you can select from chicken, steak, shrimp and scallops, but their veggie selections are a little lacking. Right now they only have mushrooms, onions and zucchini with Hibachi orders. With this said, their friendly staff mentioned they’d only been open about a month, so I hope they include more veggies as time passes(broccoli, peppers, baby corn, snow peas, etc would be a good start). They also provide a number of sushi rolls and salads. So i’ll give express a conditional four stars. Food is good, portion size is great and the service is fast and friendly, but i’d love to see them include more veggies on their menu. FYI, they share parking with the Chevron so space is at an extreme premium.
