Great service during my lunch visit. The harvest salad was so delicious! I didn’t think I’d like all that stuff mixed up but it was so good that I’ll be back to get it again. Other dishes I saw being brought out to other patrons looked good too. It gets packed at lunchtime so plan accordingly.

Wanted to catch the fight last minute, so this was the only place available since it’s so close. Decided to give it a try again. Much better experience in terms of the TVs. The food however IS subpar. I ordered the Makers Mark burger. Normally this is my favorite burger from Hudson Grille… not at this location however. My bacon looked(and tasted) like it had been cooked hours ago. I’ll stick with drinks and tater tots next time(they were pretty good).

Food is somewhat on the high side. I guess they have a high cable or satalite bill every month. The food isn’t the top of the line, but average. I guess the patrons with all that drinkin, yellin, and bettin, food is not on their minds. This place is strickly a «sports bar» and nothing else.

I have been here several times and this place is hit or miss. My last visit about 2 months ago was horrible. My food was overcooked(burnt) and I had them redo it but still was not very good. The portion size was skimpy and I’ve gotten this same entrée a few times before. Service was abysmal had to wait about 20 minutes before server brought what I needed. The bar staff are usually friendly and the servers are hit and miss but usually cordial. One of them has an attitude problem and the managers act like they just don’t care. To add insult to injury I’m a Loyalty Card member. yet I do not feel«valued» at this location. They have surveys every so often generated by your recent visits and when asked on a scale if 1 to 10 I checked 2 and I got an automated message that simeone will be in touch with you. No one EVER contacted me so I spoke to the GM Doug and he says that’s the first he hears of it. Then I get an email thanking me for letting him know about the problem yet he offers me absolutely nothing to make ammends to get me to come back! Unbelievable!!! P. S.- I would have posted this much sooner but I tried to give Hudson Grille the opportunity to make things right and no action took place. It seems to me they JUSTDONOTCARE!!!

Great, little spot! My mother and I attended the annual Taste of Tucker festival last weekend and stopped at their booth. I had a heaping taste of their lobster dip and she had their pumpkin cupcakes. Though I did enjoy the dip, my mom was most enamored by those cupcakes! She loved them so much, we HAD to go and visit the next day. We visited in the middle of a football game, so it was busy and a little loud(as a sports bar should be). When my mom inquired about the«sweet potato cupcakes»(that’s what she was convinced they were) the bartender said they didn’t offer that but had pumpkin. My mom was really disappointed, but the bartender brought it out and let her see it. It looked like a match! Soooo… it was purchased on good faith. After tasting the cupcake, we agreed it was the same. My mom ordered one more to go and was treated to an extra one(free!)thrown in! Went in today for the same cupcakes and was told we missed a special discount given earlier. The Bartender(a different person from last time) volunteered to speak with her manager and a price adjustment was made. Awesome customer service twice in one week! On the entrée tip. I had the Lobster Cobb salad… Umm… DELISH and HUGE! Alas… The free desert(brownie sundae) that I earned from my Unilocal check in totally defeated the purpose of ordering a salad… Oh well… I’ll be back for more soon!

I went there for my birthday and everything was great and have been back many times since love it and wonderful people working there. We had a waitress really good her name is Ashlyn. I will ask for her next time we go.

Excellent food atmosphere and lots of TV. If you like sports and what to chill and watch the game, you can’t go wrong.

First stop after driving to Tucker from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta international airport, my friend and I came to Hudson Grill. It was pretty nice to be grounded for just a little bit after a morning of traveling. My friend from Tucker and I arrived here around 1:30pm on a blissful Monday afternoon. Driving on I-20 was pretty good before hitting I-285 and then exiting. Probably the best part was checking in on Unilocal and getting that check in offer of free desert. Score!!! I asked my server if it’s possible for me to redeem it and I was good to go. It was awesome! Hudson Grille is one of the newer joints here in Tucker, as I’ve been told. Since I have never ever been to Atlanta, it was nice to not to be in the city and just be outside the city limits. To chill with my friend in Tucker was a good thing. The overall experience here at Hudson Grille was fast, blissful, positive, and just calm. It was nice to not be in traffic on the interstate. Hudson Grille is located at 2075 Northlake Parkway here in Tucker, GA. It’s a nice watering hole for those who call Tucker home. This place reminds me of being in a Chili’s or a Buffalo Wild Wings, but a little toned down. The ambiance here was quite subdued, maybe it’s because it’s during the work week and during the lunch hour. Probably it gets crazier during the evening. :) They accept major credit cards, so that’s always a plus. I’m glad that I did check in with Unilocal and found that free dessert offer, but you’d have to purchase an entrée with it. More value for your money. I eventually set my heart on the brownie, which came with a small cup of vanilla ice cream. I had it to go, since eating it right there seemed overkill. The prices here average about $ 10 per entrée and goes up for the house specialities. For me, burgers and fries works well for lunch. I really liked the ambiance here. The quiet and the casual atmosphere makes it the perfect place to have lunch in Tucker. For me, I looked at the cheap specials, as well as my friend. I ended up treating her for lunch, as it was the nice thing to do. She ended up having some sort of salad, whereas I ended up having the turkey sloppy joe sandwich — never had that since middle school and it tasted pretty awesome. I also had Mac and cheese as my side. The restaurant was clean and definitely organized. The sloppy joe wasn’t bad, but it could have been better. Can’t say much though, since it was cheap. The Mac and cheese was really good, especially when I haven’t had that since I was a little kid. Retro is coming back and feeding the kid within me. The meal was decently good and the service was good. Very positive and courteous. I ended up getting my brownie dessert in a take out box, along with a small cup of vanilla ice cream. Thanks Unilocal! I like this place. Next time, I’ll order a drink or two. Check this place out! Support local! B

Decided to stop by and have lunch at the bar since I was dining alone. I enjoyed everything about my lunch experience. On Mondays they have a burger special so I indulged in that. I didn’t eat 1⁄3 of my food before I was stuffed. Like seriously, stuffed. I kept trying though. The bartender was fun and very personable. I had a very pleasant experience and I will be back.

Great selection of food with good portions and flavor… great beer selection on draft… Salads are huge and if you need some good grease, the wings and burgers are delish! Cool bartenders like Falyn and Ashlyn! Awesome servers who even try to remember your name… I like the specials they email to your inbox. 2 for 1 appetizers on some nights! See familiar faces from other sports bars in the area as we all are shifting to this spot. S/O to the Manager Mimi for running a tight ship!

(My husband wrote the review. & I fully agree with him) I would honestly leave negative stars if I could, BTW! We walked in at 6pm and no one was behind the bar. Every seat at the bar was empty, yet the entire bar was slathered with about 12 classes. Used napkins. Straws. My wife and I turned around and walked right back out. I almost went back in to take a picture. It was THAT bad. No one wants an unclean bar. No more words.

I won’t lie, I miss the olden days. Not quite as far back as when this was a Chili’s, but when it was Northlake Idol. It was the best place to have karaōke, and way closer to my house than BuHi. I went to Roxx a few times and wasn’t impressed, so I had low-to-medium hopes for the Hudson Grille. The first time we went, I got the BLT. I don’t remember the server’s name but he was adorable and super helpful. My sandwich wasn’t the best ever; the bread was pretty dry and it was a crumbly, messy sandwich. It tasted good; more like a homemade sandwich than one from a restaurant, and the boursin mac and cheese on the side was also tasty. The next time, we split some apps because they were having a BOGO special. They seem to have some sort of special every night, which I admit I’m into. I love feeling like I got a deal. I’m a sucker! We got lobster tacos and lobster dip. The tacos were light and crunchy, but the lobster smelled a liiiiittle bit fishy. I ate it anyway because I’m a hog, and I already knew Tucker isn’t exactly beachfront so it’s not like it was going to be the best lobster of my life. The tacos could have used a little oomph. A sauce or a mango salsa or something to step them up a bit. The lobster dip was really thick and velveeta-y. Again, not bad but not what I think of when I think of lobster dip. I have been known to enjoy more than my fair share of rotel dip, so I’m not judging, I was just surprised. The most recent time we went, I got a chicken sandwich and another side of that boursin mac. The chicken sandwich was, as usual, okay but not great. Parts of the chicken were weird and yucky(which I am very picky about, to be fair) and the sandwich was, much like the BLT, very messy. A lot of the food here seems to be lacking in cohesion or something. it’s all just ingredients thrown together on a bun, but they don’t really work as a team. They have so much potential, and I’m hoping I’ll hit on something that I love. Our server, Cosimo was AWESOME. He was adorable and friendly and helpful and I really liked him. The mac and cheese was still good, and I have actually been craving it. However, the best part about Hudson Grille is the dessert. OMGGGG the banana cream pie, y’all. Cosimo suggested dessert, and I know that Hudson is partnered with Metrotainment Bakery. I am suuuuper picky about baked goods because so many places charge a fortune for old-ass cakes and hope you don’t know any better. But I DO know better, and I can’t stand paying $ 5-$ 8 for some 3-day old pastry. Luckily, HG won’t do you like that. The banana cream pie was fresh, tasty, and HUGE. It was so good that even though I didn’t want to share, I couldn’t object to my husband stealing bites of it because I had no more room. Thick layers of banana pudding and fresh whipped cream, atop a salty sweet crust and topped with white chocolate curls. I had dreams about that pie! I couldn’t stop thinking about the pie, so much so that I asked the restaurant to let me know when they had it again. And here is where HG has made a fan out of me for life: The manager texted me to let me know they had the pie. I said I would be by after work to grab a piece of it. When I got there, the manager greeted me and we discussed other delicious desserts. He told me they have a pineapple cream cake, which I am now dying to try. A guy went and brought me my piece of pie to go, and when I tried to pay, they wouldn’t let me. That is service, and that is what I want in a restaurant. I will forgive messy sandwiches and weird chicken bits if a restaurant acts like that actually want my business. If nothing else I will continue to go there for dessert, but I’m pretty sure there are a bunch more things on the menu I should try. I know one night they have specials on burgers, so I’m definitely going to have to check that out. And I probably need to have some more of that mac and cheese too. Hudson Grille is probably not the best food you will ever eat. But it’s a solid meal in a nice, clean place, with a staff that actually wants you there.

I must admit that I was pretty shocked to see a Hudson Grille in Tucker, but was open to try it out when I realized I couldn’t watch the Hawks playoff game at Major League next door(they were closed). The bar area was packed so we sat in the back of the restaurant directly in front of a huge tv. It was perfect. Our waiter Kash was great. He made suggestions from the menu, that actually turned out delicious. He was one of the best waiters I’ve had in a while. Maybe we caught him on a good night, but I would go back and ask to sit in his section. Don’t expect Hudson Grille Midtown when you visit this location because the atmosphere is completely different. Check them out if you get a chance!

We only got finger foods so it’s an incomplete review in a sense but the wings and fries were enjoyable as well as the prices. The service was very good as well. The place reminds me of Bennigans from back in the days. It has that 80s kind of interior but not in a dirty way. It has a pretty good size bar near the entrance and some arcades at the back. They have tons of tvs as well so it’s a good place to watch sports. Overall I would recommend this place.

The first time I had their shrimp n grits, it was one of the best Ive had at that time, but the thing that sucks is that the next time I came, it was inconsistent. The shrimp n grits just tasted really bland and the texture was not as creamy. Other than that, their cobb salad with chicken was really good as well, and you get an abundance of food. The reuben was solid too. Other than that, there isn’t much else going for this place, which sucks for them because this location just opened a few months ago. There was no hostess to greet us and the bartender just looked at us and then avoided eye contact; so it took a while for us to get acknowledged and seated. Overall, I might be back for to-go orders.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I must be getting old if I kept the party in the suburbs. Well Hudson Grille had cold green beer and ½ off appetizers so I was sold! And had a great time. We had a great waiter(can’t remember his name) that was young and very helpful. We had to educate him on beer because he was underage but he got it right. We ordered a massive amount of appetizers instead of dinner. Our table had the chili cheese tots, chicken fingers/fries, spinach dip, bbq chicken sliders and of course green beer. All of the bar food was really good and freshly cooked. What more can you ask for. The atmosphere is awesome. There are so many tv’s there is no way you can even imagine missing a moment in sports history. This place is perfect for us slightly out of the perimeter folks. Say hello to your #1 fan!

So waited 10 mins to pick up a to go order(which was wrong) because the bartender(yes only 1) didn’t realize I was waiting. Not at all on par with the Peachtree location experiences.

I was really skeptical about this place because I know the past few business’ at this location weren’t great. I went with co-workers for a birthday lunch on a Tuesday. It still looks a little rough on the outside, but looks great when you get in. Lots of TV’s to watch so it would be perfect for watching any games. Everyone at our table was happy with their food. I tried the sliders and the hummus plate. It was tasty. The service was very friendly also. Try it out! I hope it stays.

This location of Hudson’s Grill opened a little more than a month ago. The place seems to be a proverbial graveyard of businesses, as a Chili’s and Twisted Taco once stood in its stead. The location is pretty convenient for OTP folk, being located on Northlake PKWY with easy access to 285. The restaurant interior looks similar to the one in Brookhaven — lots of dark wood paneling, flat panel TVs and fancies itself a more upscale sports bar. It’s been very full the last two times we went. On one occasion we left because the wait was about 45 minutes for two, and tonight there was short wait with a rather packed house. There is also an outdoor patio area that seems it would seem to provide a nice place for outdoor drinks, at least by Atlanta standards. Our sever was very friendly and attentive, talkative but not overly chatty. Perfect. Though they were quite busy, but the food was delivered rather quickly and no mistakes. And to the food, it was good, but not great. I ordered the boneless buffalo wings with sweet potato fries and enjoyed them both, but it was nothing I’d consider remarkable. My girlfriend ordered the Cobb Salad which she rated highly. Overall, I’d say that Hudson’s Grill delivers serviceable food at a price slightly more than what you’d expect to pay for it. It was an enjoyable experience though, and I expect to return. Pros: Convenient location Cons: Average food served at an above average price Verdict: Recommend, so long as you’re aware of the con.

Someone save this place fast!!! Not sure this place will last. Too many employees running around, loud talking and goofing around. The wait staff is not familiar with the menu. 20+ tv’s all on the same basketball game. Bugs flying out of poinsettia plants while you eat. O yeah. So I cringe to share that I was pretty taken back by how loud and aloof the manager and staff were that night. She looked like the popular girl in high school with all of the kids working at their jobs trying to keep her entertained and joking with them as if she were a kid vs. management. They were all loud and too close to the tables trying to eat in peace. Suggestions for the staff and the restaurant: Do not talk to people at the registers, they are behind the heads of guests, or move them. Do not seat people near your very public display of unprofessional behavior. Redo the lighting so lighting comes down directly on tables to see and showcase the food. Their are better bulbs out there to use. Play relaxing music. Eating is a time for calm. Do not greet people at the front door like they are your best friends from high school with loud obnoxious conversations, they are guests. Learn the menu and have meetings before the start of the dinner and lunch hours. This is a restaurant. I would like to see it be successful. Get the patio ready for next year, give discounts to the office buildings to get traffic for a while. Share by calling the building management. Repaint the Black woodwork to a lighter cream color for warming feeling. Get a real road sign — the plastic banners suck. Light the parking lot and fix it. The front door is a pain in the butt to get into with that fence design, consider using the side door and relocating the entrance.
