Lakeview Estates Apartments

I have lived at Lakeview estates for over a year and they have went from just OK to a pure hell hole. I wanted to move out 6 months after moving in, unfortunately I couldn’t, due to financial reasons. They do not fix things in a timely manner and they only respond to you if you are talking about something to do with money. I had a issues with my heat and I told them 3 months prior to it getting cold about it. The only thing I was told was they wanted to wait closer until it was cold before they would fix it. They said it probably was the piolet light and if they lit it too early it would probably just go out again. Why not just fix the entire unit so that wouldn’t happen right? They do not keep the grounds clean, the trash compactor is always broken and it smells so bad all the time… pay no mind to the gates because they will never be functional. ***Beware**** they will try to scam you out of your money if you do not pay attention. They got new management half way through my stay here and the new management has only been focused on planting ugly Christmas trees and ugly flower pots calling it an upgrade. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT TRYING TO CALL CORPORATE, YOU WILL NEVER GET ANYONE TO VOICE YOUR CONCERN TO. They give no incentives for you to renew your lease but they constantly go up on the rent. I have so much more that I could say about this crap of an apartment complex. Please save yourself the time stress and headache. RUN FAR AWAY!!!

Terrible apartments. Terrible leasing staff. The people who live here are noisy and bad mannered. Even with my roommate, we didn’t feel safe most of the time. The apartments are all really.shabby. When you call the leasing agents to see if they can help you renovate or upgrade, they give you the run-​around and try to get money out of you. Don’t like here unless you want all your money taken by crooks for a mediocre craphole.

The apartments are a good size and the price is OK. I have lived in the area for a while and the amenities here are not as good as other places. The front office staff is nice.
The maintenance seems to have gotten better, now that they have changed the maintenance manager. (updated from previously stating they were not doing very well/​not very communicative).
The interior photos are also a bit misleading. Very few apartments have the counter tops and the cabinets shown in the pictures. A lot of the appliances are also not as nice as shown.
There must be new management or something, as they are redoing the landscaping through out the property. It looks great. However, the money could have been better spent updating the insides of the apartments first. Hopefully, they will update the outdated, industrial looking carpet and old appliances soon.
I previously mentioned that they had sealed off all of the fireplaces. After the coldest part of the winter this season, they finally re-​opened them and repaired the fireplaces. So, we are able to utilize them once again. HOORAY!
Overall it is a good place for the money. It’s not luxury, but it’s not awful, either.
