I’ve stayed in better hotels, but this is a Motel 6(and an old one at that) and you get what you pay for(I paid $ 40 a night). What I liked the most about this motel is that it was super close to the expressway(literally next to the I-285 Lawrenceville Highway exit). I also liked that it was in a safe neighborhood. What I didn’t like is the fact that the motel seems to be undergoing some type of slow remodeling process. My room was old and dated, and the wall was literally falling apart underneath the sink. I was really concerned because there was paneling that was off of the wall and you could see between the floor and the next room– I was worried that a rodent would get into my room(luckily this didn’t happen). There were weird noises coming from the bathroom at night, which is kind of scary. I don’t know if it was from other motel guests or the remodeling. Also, when we first walked into the room, the air conditioner was on 65 degrees. The room was FREEZING. It took forever to get the room to warm up. The thermostat for the heat looks like a 1950’s relic and we weren’t sure it even worked initially. The housekeeping staff was very nice. The evening front desk staff was nice as well. However, the morning front desk staff needs to work on their customer service skills. There is a washer and dryer on the premises, and a couple of vending machines. There is a great Waffle House literally down the street, and there are shopping centers within a 5 – 10 minute drive from the motel. There is Wi-Fi, but you have to pay for it on a daily basis($ 2.99 and $ 4.99). The television left a lot to be desired; the channels don’t match up to the guide channel. And there are hardly any channels that work(the tv might have 30 channels but only 10 work). The room comes with a table, yet there are no chairs, so what is the point of that? I didn’t sleep under the covers because. well…it’s Motel 6. Would you? My daughter and I slept on top of the comforter. I guess I lucked out since I didn’t experience any issues with bugs in my room. But that doesn’t mean that I wasn’t constantly on the lookout for them. Being that the room/motel was so old and undergoing remodeling, I was actually surprised that I didn’t see any bugs(or rodents) in my room!

Very disappointed with this hotel. There were ants on the night stand, the carpet was very dirty, and we woke up in the middle of the night to a roach crawling on our bed. It is a very cheap hotel, but not even worth the money we spent on it.

I found this hotel on Kayak trying to compare prices on hotels in the area, and I lucked up on this one. It’s $ 35 a night, which is a steal in the Atlanta area. It was very convenient to all the places I wanted to go. The room was decent, it wasn’t falling apart or anything. It was also clean and neat. There was a King size bed and it was pretty comfortable too. The only thing I can complain about is that sometimes during the days or nights there were people loitering around the premises. During the day there were kids outside selling water and things. It was pretty hot out but I don’t think they were suppose to be doing that!!! All in all, I had a decent stay here and will stay here again when I’m in town.

Very disappointed! Pics on Internet very deceiving. They offer weekly rates but no microwave or refrigerator. TV is old, circa early 90’s. Cigarette burns on the comforter and it smells like a ton of cheap air freshener was sprayed on them, no telling what kind of smells they are covering, ewww… carpet is dirty, it’s 30 degrees and the heat is all the way up but it feels like an ice box. I believe one night is all I can take!

It’s a room with a shower tv bed and working Ac. This is an older motel 6 but for $ 40 cent complain much. Other then the furniture missing drawers but who really uses those anyways…
