Be careful with this one my unit was broken into, and when I moved out I had water damage to my boxes. I left a message on the voice mail that I was moving out on Sunday the day before the first of the month and they still charged me for being in the unit even though my lock and things were gone.

I would like to thank Edget for taking her time with me as I was choosing where to leave my belongings. She made me feel real comfortable leaving my things in this location. So I advise anyone who what to leave there belongings at a storage should go to this location.

This location has competitive prices but that is the only pro in my opinion. Due to the location, you can only turn right onto Lawrenceville Highway when you exit the property on Montréal Rd. The key code at the entrance gate is not positioned high enough so you have to exit your car to punch in your access code(the key code is correctional positioned when exiting.) Spacing between the buildings is tight and around the corners, so watch for other cars. The ceilings throughout the hallways and units have exposed foam insulation with no drywall/particle board, etc… I asked the salesperson(Natalie) about the likelihood of these pieces falling down as they seemed loose/dangling in the building I was being shown and she said it was okay. I signed my contract… and 30 minutes later read on… The unit I rented had obviously not been cleaned, so I borrowed a broom from the front office. As I swept I noticed 2 things —(1) mysterious black droppings in the corner and(2) foam pieces from the ceiling that had already dropped from the time I had gotten the broom. When I asked(Natalie), she brushed off the black droppings as belongings from the previous occupant and the foam ceiling as «not her fault». If you are only storing boxes, the ceilings may not be an issue, but I found the whole unit/building unacceptable. So, 30 minutes later, I informed Natalie I wanted to cancel my contract. She was irritated as it was close to closing time. She made some unprofessional comments, and I wonder if the property manager had been there if this had been handled differently. I reminded her that Georgia law allows a person to cancel a contract within 24 hours. I was not refunded my $ 25 admin fee which I disagree with and is a ridiculous Public Storage policy under these circumstances, but I am just glad I am out of this unit/property. No, I cannot recommended this property.
