QuikTrip

The QuikTrip is pretty awesome. I normally wouldn’t write a review about a gas station, but QT warrants it. It’s to the point that it’s the only gas station I’ll visit if I can help it.
To begin with, the stores are always clean and the employees friendly. I don’t think I’ve seen a dingy, dirty QT in the ten years I’ve lived in the Atlanta area. It is completely absent of the seedy feel you’ll encounter in a lot of convenient stores.
Secondly, I love the drinks. Now, a lot of gas stations will be cheap and turn up the temperature in their freezers so the drinks are cool, at best. Not at QT. They’re always ice cold, which is great after a good run on a summer day. Plus, they also have huge soft drinks for only $.79.
QT has recently added «QuikTrip Kitchens» to many of their stores so I decided to give it a shot. Is it a gourmet food? No, but just as good as any other fast food establishment. I’ve had the personal pizzas, which are good — just as good as the ones you’ll get from Pizza Hut, Domino’s or Papa John’s, anyway. I’ve had both of their kolaches. They are basically hot, sweet, soft dough — one served with a breakfast sausage and the other bacon, egg and cheese. Again, good, I enjoyed it. Finally, I’ve had the pretzels. They’re not real pretzel bread, or if it is, it doesn’t taste like it, and considerably more doughy and without the crunch you get in a well-​made one. Still, it was tasty and I’d order one again.
In short, should you go out of your way to eat at the QT Kitchen? Probably not, but if you’re there anyway, hungry, in a hurry, it’s just as good as any other fast food joint.
Oh yeah, and free air, too. That’s always a bonus.
Pros: Clean, neat, friendly staff, cold drinks, cheap fast food.
Cons: None.
Verdict: Recommended.

I like QT for the most part. I like this one better than the other less than a mile from this one because it seems a bit safer and it’s also in a plaza with a Dollar General, Pizza Hut and a Mexican restaurant.
There’s a ton of thru traffic but that’s to be expected of any Quiktrip in Atlanta. Plus, QTs are always crowded. We all need gas, right? LOL
The $ 0.79 fountain drinks and free air are always a plus as well!
The attendants always greet you when you come in and make sure they welcome you back.

I stop by here all the time for the gas, coffee and air for my leaking tires! It’s a great gas station with a nice staff.
