RUN — don’t walk away from this company. They moved my mom late last winter and I agree with the rating from I.R. They don’t do what they say they will do, nor do they deliver on additional promises made. My mother was extremely unhappy, plus the owner promised me additional back-​up matériel to support the billing and it never arrived. Three other couples moved into my mom’s new location — all had the same issues with this company. It is difficult being so far away… and made more difficult by an unethical moving company. Don’t engage for your parents… you will only be disappointed.

Adrienne Simpson will lie to you and cheat you and her employees will break your things and steal your stuff and then she will refuse to even answer the phone to take the complaint and will try every thing she can to wiggle out of replacing those things making you have to get DPS involved. At least, that’s what happened to me. I doubt I’ll ever see my stuff again and will have to take them to court to get my money back but I will eventually, just not in time or without legal intervention. If I could give them negative stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU LIKE YOUR STUFF INTACT AND STILL THERE AT THE OTHER END OF YOUR MOVE!!!

My husband and I relocated from Georgia to Florida. The movers were friendly BUT when I was able to take all the boxes and clutter off my furniture here is what I discovered:
My antique table had a chunk taken out of it which had been strategically placed facing the wall (smooth move wouldn’t acknowledge their movers did it). My antique Cinderella mirror had one of it’s wood points crushed strategically placed on the floor behind other items (smooth move claims my dogs chewed it). My coffee table had deep scratches on it, (again they claim my dog chewed or scratched it). My 1 year old bed frame was assembled by the movers; they put it together backwards and didn’t attach the brackets even though they were in the same bag as the screws so the frame broke in half, (smooth move claims the bed frame couldn’t hold up my mattress). A piece of furniture had its leg totally broke off and place in the garage behind boxes, (smooth move allows $ 80 for this furniture). My antique chair was scratched, (again blamed on my 8lb dog chewing it). End result, they take no responsibility for their damage. I paid them $ 1600 from my Tradebank account (a bartering company) and $ 1100 Cash. They claim there was only trade and no financial exchanges made! If they are your only choice use CREDIT CARD NO CASH!

One of their movers stole some of our jewelry during the move. The owner and the manager of the company, as well as the other movers, all acted like they immediately knew who it was. The police interviewed the person, and confirmed our suspicions, but didn’t have enough to make an arrest. The company submitted a claim to their insurance, which was denied because there was no arrest. I never heard from them again. So we lost some family jewelry and were not even reimbursed for its value. Use at your own risk.
