This place is a favorite. Great food, good atmosphere. Service has been prompt and even if there is a delay in seating when busy, you are acknowledged quickly and it is never very long. The Bacon and Cream over pasta is delicious.

Lovely lunch there!!! Beautiful views!!! Delicious homemade lunch sandwiches on really good baguette bread! Prices for lunch are reasonable for a summer destination place and portions are large. Appetizer calamari was fresh and delicious – also delicious were the dessert!!! BYOB! Very nice wait staff!

First time back since the storm. Food is as good if not better! The clams and sausage over mashed potatoes was amazing. Scallop app was awesome! Hubby had halbut, he said was really good.

Excellent food, nice staff but the elevator is tricky to operate for many people. If you stick with it and call from the elevator for assistance, the food is really worth the trouble. Horry for Mama’s meat sauce!

Stopped here after fishing on the boat. Really great place to have a nice lunch and dock the boat. The waitress was really friendly with very good suggestions. They set a fresh warm basket on the table. We ordered streamed clams that were out of this world. We each ordered different sandwiches from the lunch menu. I order the catch of the day sandwich. It was really delicious. The fresh plum tomatoes really went great with the nice soft roll. Someone else ordered the pulled barbecue sandwich. The flavors were amazing, every bite left you wanting more. The Cuban sandwich is one of the best in this area. All the ingredients were so fresh. I Recommend getting the coleslaw, it was so refreshing. Someone else ordered the flounder sandwich, it tasted so fresh. I recommend it if your enjoy a nice fish sandwich.

We own a second home on Heron road for many years, this was a place we passed by hundreds of times. After forgetting to plan a lunch for the family I started to scramble to look for a quick and close place to fee the family. To my surprise, this place was not only a beautiful restaurant, the view was amazing. The price was reasonable and the staff was amazing. I only did take out but I plan on bring my family there for a full sit down meal from now on. I was very impressed with everything.

After reading an article about panini bay, decided to try it. What a wonderful suprise! The restaurant was difficult to find in the dark and could definitely use better signage andThe parking lot was a mess! Once inside, the restaurant was contemporary and unexpected. The large windows surround the dining room providing a beautiful view of the bay. Unfortunately for us, it was dark, so, no view, but looking forward to going back for lunch to see it in day time. The food was well prepared and delicious. Most enjoyed the artichokes. Pork chops were perfectly cooked and served with potatoes and fresh green beans. Service was attentive and unhurried. I could not understand why resevations were recommended for a weekend night in the winter, but, panini bay is not a large restaurant and all the tables were filled. So much fun to discover a wonderful restaurant in a seemingly out if the way place. Looking forward to going back soon

I can’t believe for all the times I have eaten here I have never reviewed it. I love Panini Bay. Let me say first and foremost I have been going here for years. The servers are the nicest and friendliest towards us. I get the eggplant I love it. Crispy fried and you get it your way sauce on or on the side, skin or no skin. And you can get macaroni or side of veggies. Thursday night you can get a Pannini instead of a dinner. They even have hamburgers on Thursday. Sunday there’s a brunch! I’m not a fan of Brunches So no sure how it is. BYOB a plus try them. They now take reservations another plus!

Definite jewel in the rough. We just happened upon the place using OpenTable, and needed a place in the AC area. We got there just around sunset, and the views over the bay and towards Atlantic City were spectacular. We had the pumpkin ravioli, which they made with brown butter sage sauce because were not big fans of goat cheese, which was the menu item. The bolognese sauce over rigatoni was equally good. Service was attentive and overall this was a big hit.

Ok let me start by saying as a first time diner I was not sure what to have. Our waiter Dan suggested I try the clams and spicy sausage. He went on to tell me not to have pasta but the mashed potatoes. Now I guess he saw my hesitation on giving up pasta for mashed potatoes and said if you don’t like it don’t tip me. A ballsy move I took him up on it. It was wonderful and Dan was attentive to our needs and all the food was great my wife had the eggplant and loved it. Now this is not a cheap place but a quality and romantic place for date night. The view if the water must be wonderful in the summer but it will not stop us from enjoying this all winter. I like to go to places with a personality and this one had it. I gave them five star for the food the view and the staff. I never forget a great waiter. Thanks for a wonderful night.

I’ve driven from Philadelphia to have dinner here many times, it’s THAT good. Their meatballs are fantastic. I was so happy to see them reopen after rebuilding after Sandy, they are back and better than ever! The chicken milanese is my favorite, it is cooked to absolute perfection. I have not had one thing here I didn’t like, they have great specials, it’s BYO which is nice, great portions and accompaniments for each dish. Friendly, welcoming staff. I’ve never had a panini here(I think I’ve only seen them on the menu at lunch) but I suppose Perfect Pasta and Meatball Bay wouldn’t be an appealing name. HIGHLY recommend checking this place out if you’re nearby, you won’t be disappointed. Oh, and the view is beautiful!

Glad we found this restaurant. We’ve been twice and food was excellent on both occasions. The specials menu has great seasonal foods. It is loud… But food is good; go somewhere else for quiet conversation ;). BYOB. They are generous with ice to chill your wine if needed. Make reservations for the weekends this is a smaller place.

Been going here since before Sandy. Tucked away in Tuckerton typically attracting only locals as many don’t know it is there. The food is consistently great. The sausage and clams over linguine is a dish not to be missed. It is loud. When the restaurant was rebuilt after Sandy everything was done with hard surfaces. It looks great but the sound just bounces around everywhere and is pretty loud. The service has definitely gotten much better in recent months. 12÷31÷14 Eating here for NYC has become a tradition. Last visit here was disappointing. From the host, teenager, seating his parents ahead of us despite arriving after us, we both had reservations, being handed one menu for the two of to share because they didn’t have any more, the water glasses dripping wet with hot water from the dish washer, the normally attentive owner disappearing early in the evening and the always amazing sausage and clams not being cooked long enough for the flavors to meld — raw garlic is usually a sign it needs to cook a little more… It was a surprisingly disappointing night. If it were my first time there it would have been our last. But it has always been great before so we will try again and hope this was just a bad night.

This was our first to Panini Bay and it was very enjoyable. We went with 6 adults and we were promptly seated with our 6:30 reservations. The views from the dining room are spectacular. We sat at a corner table with the window open on a cool night and it was perfectly comfortable. Some tables are in the inside of the room and the water views may be limited from those tables. We were greeted by a pleasent waitress who offered to open our wine as soon as we sat. After a quick review of the specials, we had a few minutes to look over the menu and decide on apps and entrees. I had the fried calamari and it cooked to perfection and tender. The sauce could have been spicier but overall, it was tasty. My wife had the Insalata Panini Bay and she enjoyed. For entrees I had the Tile Fish off the special menu. It was sautéed with some cherry tomatoes, spinach and lightly seasoned in a white wine sauce. I really enjoyed it. My wife had the Eggplant without the marinara sauce and she said she made a mistake by not getting some sauce on it. It was a little dry for her but that was not the kitchens fault. I don’t remember the outer dishes our fiends ordered but everyone enjoyed the meals. The only comment I remember is the one person who the Ravioli, said the sauce could have been better. He said it was a little bland and could have used some more spices. My wife and I split the carrot cake and it was fantastic. We both had cappuccino and they were served hot and was very tasty. Our overall experience was very positive and I would defiantly go back to Panini Bay. There are some boat slips available and an elevator since the restaurant is on pilings and up 2 flights of stairs. As far as some reviewers saying it is pricey, I disagree. I think the prices are average for what you’re getting. Its not a chain restaurant or a burger joint, so I feel the prices are fair and on par. The décor of the room compliments the bay views very well. I hope you try this place, its not blow your mind fantastic but above average for the area and its better than the chain restaurants that litter Southern Ocean County.
